But if you don't do that you're putting the lapped cars at a massive disadvantage. They might end up a lap down on a car that was only five seconds ahead of them before the safety car came out, because the leader happened to be in the gap between them. There's no totally fair way to do it.
-
Quite clearly Hamilton deserved that win but then Max lost a lot of points in Baku, Silverstone and Hungary. He would have had the Championship won two races ago if he hadn’t lost all those points, through no fault of his own. I don’t like the safety car, I think every incident like that should be either a VSC or a red flag.
-
So did I but still - no goals scored and zero points.

That’s not news Turkish, we’ve known for decades that being obese is unhealthy. Why would you need an ‘expert’ to come on TV and explain it again. It’s been reported countless times by various news channels that obesity is a risk factor.

So when Norwich have plenty of possession in promising areas but failed to create many clear chances and miss them when they do, they’ve clearly got some decent fight and are unlucky? If that had been us out there, the verdict would be all about how we’re going down and failed to take our chances. Net result today is that all five teams down the bottom lost and considering our injuries, suspensions and opponent, it’s been okay as damage limitation goes.
-
So what are you suggesting? We ban everything in the world which people could use to inflict harm?
-
I eat all those things in moderation and I am, to the best of my knowledge, healthy and an acceptable BMI. You can abuse anything. Millions die each year from alcohol, road vehicles, exposure to the sun… heck, you can stick your head in a garden shredder if if you really want to. There’s a difference between sustained abuse of an every day product and a disease which is genuinely harmful.

I’ve not watched the reserves but by most accounts Lewis is nowhere near being a Premier League player. I’ve no idea why people expected or even hoped Willy would walk in and immediately be better than McCarthy. He’s a one month emergency stop gap, there’s a reason he’s without a club.
-
He won’t be sacked and nor should he. Is he the best manager out there, no not by a long way. Can anyone else do better with this terrible, terrible collection of players, who would be willing to come here and work within our budget? I very much doubt it.
-
I like how you’ve just assumed that Leeds and Palace are safe, despite being level on points, as well as Newcastle 6 below us.
-
With what though? Shane Long? Walcott? Valery?
-
I’d agree with that. We really don’t play that badly, considering we have so many sub-standard players we are forced to rely on. A team with McCarthy, Bednarek, Elyounoussi, Redmond, Tella, Stephens and Armstrong regularly starting could easily be welded to the bottom of this league. This is a squad which was forced to sell three of its supposed better players in summer, who now can’t get a game for midtable Villa and Leicester.

Brett likes to say things which are known truths to anybody with a rudimentary understanding of science, but nuanced in a way which makes them sound like government conspiracies.
-
Good, he’s struggling for form, hasn’t scored for a while and needs a goal to boost his confidence. We all know how that ends.
-
WTF was up with Bachman there? Brentford went to grab the ball back off him, he goes down like he’s been on the receiving end of a rock bottom and needs 5 minutes of medical treatment.
-
I am with you on that one. I do love the run up to a general election, when people are being interviewed in the streets and some 21 stone bloke claims the Tories are crippling the NHS. If people won’t lose weight to prevent heart disease, bowel cancer, hypertension, stroke, osteoarthritis, liver disease, chronic muscle pain and 1,000 other medical conditions, I doubt they will for covid either, sadly. Still, I don’t think it necessarily follows that anti-vaxxers are by default Abercrombie and Fitch models with shredded abs, like the guy in your photo.
-
Really sorry to hear that Winner, cancer is an awful, awful disease I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy. Stay strong, I hope you have good people to support you.

This has been explained to you already. The vast majority of us got vaccinated on the back of sound medical advice, not political coercion. Most of us are not scared, we're bored and fed up of restrictions which we all want to be over. The people who ARE scared, perhaps you should take a moment to consider what life is like for some of them. There's a senior couple two doors down from me, who share part of a garden fence, who have been advised by their doctor (who is unfortunately an oncologist) to avoid physical contact as much as possible. They've both had their jabs but the old boy has leukemia and COVID could well be the end of him. Still, haha what a scared sheep. No, they don't want to control our lives, they want our ecconomy open for business, our trade and borders moving and their noses back in the trough. Boris is not sat in #10 doing a maniacal laugh because he made me wear a surgical mask in Tesco for ten minutes. Completely false comparison. So the government have done nothing to increase capacity, other than to temporarily increase capacity, which fortunately wasn't needed? No. Nobody wants that, but it might end up being a necessity. That photo is just nonsense and a complete strawman.

This moment isn’t going down too well. I don’t know whether to feel sorry for them or sorry for us because some considered them to be our better defenders when they left.
-
Good, that place is a complete eyesore.

Ultimately, there’s only one stat which really matters and it’s this one. https://coronavirus.data.gov.uk/details/healthcare?areaType=overview&areaName=United Kingdom We all got together for Xmas, nobody was vaccinated, the Delta variant was prevalent and hospital admissions skyrocketed. We locked down just in time to prevent a healthcare disaster. WITH vaccinations hospital numbers have fluctuated around 7-9,000 for the last five months, even though there have been no other restrictions on society. That’s been the difference, it’s as clear as day and I’ve no idea why people are trying to make a case for not getting jabbed.
-
To answer your question directly, I’m still more concerned about the hypothetical careful anti-vaxxer. Not because I’m more worried they will infect me - The vaccines effect on transmissibility is still not proven - but because they are far more likely to need hospital treatment at some point, regardless of how often they get tested. That’s the issue, rising infections lead to rising hospital admissions, the NHS reaches a critical mass of patients again and we end up in lockdown.
-
Except those aren’t the options. A very large number of anti-vaxxers refuse to admit there is any kind of threat at all, never get tested and refuse to comply with masks and SD whenever possible. Jabbed people aren’t as cavalier as that either. I never stopped wearing masks in shops and I’d say about half the people I saw didn’t either.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/59587170 The lowest rated player on the pitch was Bertrand, with an average of 3.6/10. Edit: Had a quick peruse of the Foxes forum and this gem was at the top: https://www.foxestalk.co.uk/topic/127373-worst-player-to-wear-the-shirt-in-the-prem-era/
