Go on Ralph, be brave and start N'Lundulu.

And again, you WANT to see racist abuse, you actively want it. As for the need for the message, how effective do you think a 'no to fights outside pubs' T-shirt campaign would be? Or a 'lets end murder' billboard campaign? Or putting 'no more nonces' leaflets through every letterbox?
-
Again, another statement which shows why progress will never be made. If your position on an issue is absolute and immobile, that everything wrong must be the other person’s fault, a compromise can never be reached.
-
You're ignoring the point, I wasn't talking about the players. You willingly made the statement that you're glad to see confrontation because you like seeing racists being upset. I would suggest that's not a very strong moral position and is contrary to wanting to fight any form of discrimination. To repeat the question above, how much longer until you agree with Duck and Wes that Brexit is an excellent idea?
-
So assuming that logic; how many more years of Lord duck and Weston calling and lefty, pinko, snowflake, woke remainer will it for you to agree that Brexit is a fantastic idea and you were wrong all along?
-
That’s exactly the kind of attitude which makes me think people don’t really want harmony and equality. If your attitude is to try and upset racists as much as possible, how on Earth can you expect to change their attitudes?
-
I've long thought this and yet it doesn't seem to be a thing anywhere. It can't be a difficult software process to simply hide the names and email addresses of an application before it's passed on to HR.
-
Now you see, THAT is the kind of issue I can get onboard with. There’s clearly a genuine issue in some places which we collectively need to address. That doesn’t just mean finger pointing and saying, "these companies are racist!" If there’s a reoccurring issue of ‘men from country X or region Y are more often rude to customers’ then that needs to be addressed in an open forum, without fear of persecution. Instead we’ve got the media droning on about hashtags, kneeling and someone calling a black man, "the black man."

I was doing deliveries in Tipner/Stamshaw the other day and holy sh*t is that place a dump. I think if I lived there I wouldn't want to leave my house anyway.
-
I think some people need to be a bit thicker skinned when it comes to media headlines. There are plenty out there praising our form and I’m willing to bet a trawl through the other 19 PL forums (and Pompeyonline no doubt) would yield a few grumbles about, "the media love in with Southampton." We have to accept that us being temporarily 3rd isn’t unprecedented or interesting.

Pep practically insists upon it.

I had to chuckle at her remarks about Jesus. Yes, of all the documented aspects of the life of Jesus Christ, which nutter would pick ‘being white’ as the detail which might not be accurate. 😆

Arsenal fans must think about the times they used to send out Henry, Campbell, Vieira, Pires and Bergkamp and just cry.
-
I believe there was a very similar stat for Monday night games, before the Brighton match.
-
Firstly, you’ve changed the question. We were talking about the PSG incident, which didn’t involve any crowd members or the Police and whatever you think of the officials’ language, his intentions were at least honest. Secondly, what do you mean by people like us, "sorting out the racists in the crowd"? It’s not as if they get off Scott free, the perpetrators are usually identified by CCTV and arrested/banned as necessary. Are you saying that we should take it upon ourselves to pile in and kick the living sh*t out of anyone suspected of racial abuse?

Spurs win. I'm not sure I can stand another 30 years hearing about a "golden generation of Liverpool stars who dominated European football," etc. We're not in a title fight, let it go. Phil Brown's Hull and Paul Jewell's Wigan were both in a similar position after a similar number of games once.
-
Steady on. We’ve got a chance to be another place or two higher for a few days, depending on other results, that’s all. It’ll be an exhausting season if we’re clinging to every match day like that.
-
West Brom playing the last 20 mins with 10 men too. Well, Austin was on the pitch.
-
No. We’re a 7-12th team, enjoying a period of good form. Whenever we’ve played anyone decent we’ve been outplayed, and come away with 1 point from 3 games.
-
I wonder how that would have gone down had it not been played behind closed doors. If you get 60,000 people, some of them spending over £100 for transport, food, match ticket and whatever and/or travelling a couple of hours to see their team, they aren’t going to be too happy to see a match abandoned after 20 minutes because one official called one coach, "that black guy."
-
Why is 6 any less likely than 5? There’s no law of averages being played out here and if we’d lost 5 on the bounce at home before we played Sheff Utd, nobody would be using the same logic. It won’t be easy by any means but saying they’re somehow ‘due’ a win is false.

Was it not Houllier who had some sort of infarction during a game and was taken to hospital?
-
It's not just them. Sky must have forgotten to pack their rainbow microphones when they covered the Joshua/Ruiz rematch Riyadh. Many people don't like virtue signalling but when people immediately pussy out the moment they're confronted with actual prejudice, that really annoys me. Like a teacher who's scared of their disruptive class, so makes only the well behaved pupils stay behind for detention.

Saints vs Sheff Utd - Match & Reaction Thread
Lighthouse replied to Lighthouse's topic in The Saints
If I was a Blades fan I'd be more 'not happy' about the fact that it's accurate. I guess if the boot was on the other foot I wouldn't like it either but that's life. -
Not really a game but Gerard Houllier has passed away.
