I've never got this logic. I presume your saying VAR would be used to keep the games as even as possible, so if a team is 2-0 down and concedes a penalty it's more likely to be overruled to keep the game 'alive'. I think this would ruin the credibility of the sport. We already have people furiously shouting, "how has the ref not seen that!?" without VAR. If an obvious incident is missed even after 3 replays, such as the goal Carroll conceded against Spurs, Lampard against Germany or Henry's handball against Ireland, it would be massively damaging for football.

The shoulder panels look disjointed, like they hadn't been lined up correctly when it was sewn together and the flybe logo was just awful. Tacky plastic and again it didn't line up properly with the edge of the stripes. Why go 2/3rd of the way through the stripes at either side and not just have a plain white space going all the way through. To each their own but I thought it was crap.

If they start playing meaningless friendlies, they wont be able to.

Not as bad as the Poortvleit/Pardew kit, which was just terrible on many levels. It was quite the metaphor for our worst season in recent history.

Where has this conspiracy come from that everything is just for the benefit of 'the big six'. Other players at other clubs play the same number of games and will be equally fatigued. If anything this will benefit clubs like Saints who don't have anywhere near the depth of squad as those above them.
-
Been saying that for ages. Make each half 35 mins of 'in play time' (or whatever the average is, rounded up to the nearest 5). When the clock turns 70, play continues until the ball goes out of play, then FT.

Looks pretty amateurish, like 2 kits sewn together at the front. Why not have the stripes go all the way up? Also the widened stripe around the UA logo looks like it was drawn by a 5 year old. I'll pass thanks, may be tempted by the away shirt if it's decent.

Don’t care, so long as people like Mourinho stop moaning about fixture congestion. This has been done before but I’d be happy to see a month long break and finish the season a month later. Have some nice warm away days with better weather and pitches.

Right up until the point his agent told him he could get a move to Man Utd but they weren't the least bit interested, so he moved to West Ham instead for more money.

I don't see why we couldn't match their wages. Everton have a massive wage bill and catch keep heaping more and more onto it, indefinitely. Likewise Leicester will have seen a big inflation in their wage bill after winning the league and the signings they made. All depends who is serious and who actually makes him a decent offer.

There's no doubt he has the talent and can unlock any defence with a few tricks and turns. I certainly hope he stays, needs to work on his fitness and decision making though.
-
I think there's a large element of truth in this. Our complete lack of adventure over the last 2 years has flattered our defence somewhat. When Hughes came in and tried to play with a bit of purpose we immediately started shipping 3 goals a game.
-
Not much I'd wager. It's not as if we had a bad start last year, or that our performances and results improved over time. It was hardly a last minute appointment at Saints either, I doubt the squad had gone through much other than basic fitness drills by the time he arrived.

Yoshida has the experience and the attitude to stay here and doesn’t disappear when the going gets tough. Given that we really need to strengthen with at least one senior player, that leaves Hoedt, Stephens and Bednarek fighting over two spaces. For me, WH and JB have the greater potential, which leaves JS still standing when the music stops. Either he is Pied’s replacement as backup RB, which I’m okay with personally, or he should move on.

My mate in the Ugandan Coast Guard reckons it’s Cardiff away first up and he’s pretty well connected. He was right about Zoltan Liptak signing. Love and Lighthouse.

He's the internet equivalent of a man going to A&E with a mobile phone stuck up his arse, trying to convince a hysterical nurse that he had just come out of the shower naked and sat on the bed, not realising it was there.

Okay, I take that back. Now it's funny again.

Sané doesn't make the Germany squad. Welbeck does make the England squad. I think that says something about the relative talent of both our nations. -
If you've seen Le Tiss and Shearer then you've seen Niemi. He was far, far, far superior to Kelvin Davis.

I'm frequently dismayed to see the number of internet conspiracy loonies who genuinely believe western governments are the worst thing out there. Speaking as if terrorist atrocities are all our fault and that Putin and other dictators are somehow bravely standing up to the greed of the capitalist West. Putin uses this very well and has his own countrymen believing the majority of it, playing on the same insecurities Hitler did about Germany's financial problems being the Allies fault after WWI.

I couldn't give the tiniest sh*t which of you, Glasgow, Heisenberg, Hypo, Dusic, Charlie, Nordic, Batman, Brett from Camden and various other personalities (and I'm playing fast and loose in the extreme with that term) are the same person or people in real life. Your routine is tiresome and long since devoid of any humour.

Please, for your own sanity, turn the computer off, go out and at least try to talk to a female. I'm not joking or being sarky. You really, genuinely need to rethink your life.

This is really quite tragic. I actually feel bad that there is someone out there with nothing better to do with their life than pretend to be Kenyan on an internet message board.
