City's midfield looks awful, Utd just carving through it. Toure looking a shadow of his former self. Clichy looking poor and Kompany lucky to be on the pitch.
-
Depends really. If City carry on playing this poorly for a few more games and Pelle's goal gets his mojo back then we could at least go there on the final day with 2 points of them and make things interesting. I don't think we're really playing well enough to do it but it's feasible.

Rooney's hair appears to be washing off with the rain. I'm guessing they stuck it on with a Pritt-stick and not a solvent based glue.

Have a look at the areas around Split. I've never been there as such but I've seen the area a lot and it looks amazing. Hvar is supposed to be nice but apparently parts of it are a bit touristy.

Shaw was 18, Clyne is 24. We wont get anything like £25m for Clyne.

I saw mate, it's a bummer. Still at least you have time to enlighten us with more of your TMS wisdom. Some pr*ck scraped his car against the Lotus in a car park today and drove off. Not quite as bad, probably more on par with your Glastonbury tickets.

I'm guessing this story was leaked by agents doing their homework but if it pushed the prices up then all the better. I'd guess about £15m for Clyne and £20-25m for Morgan. Clyne would make sense for Chelsea. A home grown player and they would be replacing a 31 year old with a 24 year old.

I like you. You seem nice.

You're e-alive!

Sort of but most of my e-friends tend to end up e-dead. Justice Mike, Spudders, His-Bajesty, Rulebook Ric, Aldi-Man.... God rest their e-souls I think Erico is the only one left

It's a witch-doctor who can cure him from being a sick note with glass legs.

I'd also agree that Jay Rod is the biggest miss. I think we were pretty much trying to replace Lambert as our first choice CF since we got promoted. Obviously he still had a role but I think we brought in Jay Rod then Osvaldo with a view to becoming first choice. Lambert was slowing down noticeably last season and I think this year would have been one season too far. Our problem at the moment seems to be having loads of decent possesion but nobody willing to dig out that clear chance or have a decent shot. Lallana is hardly the cure to that problem. I don't think he would give us anything we aren't getting from Mane or Tadic.

Weren't the X-Factor judges getting death threats a few years ago for not voting Jedward off the show, or something ridiculous like that. There are some sad nutters out there. Most of them are probably harmless enough, just with some weird inferiority complex and chronic lack of attention.

He has never mentioned it specifically but if you look at his posts carefully there are some subtle clues.

I was doing ironies. Me and Eric are off for a few drinks on Saturday, hopefully Phil will be there too so I can hear his golf stories.

I say Yarmolenko and Konoplyanka every window so I'll add them to this thread too. The latter is available on a free after refusing a new contract at Dnipro.

You would have to be an incredibly sad gimp to meet up with someone you'd met on Saints web in real life.

City's starting line up from tonight: Hart - 27 Will be 28 in a couple of weeks Sagna - 32 Kompany - 28 Will be 29 on Saturday Clichy - 29 - Will be 30 start of next season Demichelis - 34 Navas - 29 Silva - 29 Fernandino - 29 Will be 30 next month Yaya Toure - 31 Will be 32 next month Aguero - 26 Dzeko - 29 I'm wondering what direction that club is going. They will pretty much have to replace that entire team, bar Aguero and Hart, in the next 2 seasons. They haven't exactly got spring chickens in the rest of the squad; Zabaletta, Milner, Lampard. 28 year old Nasri will probably be one of their younger players next season.

I seem to remember people saying Derby fans were acting like kn*bs after the 2nd leg but I wasn't there so it could just be sour grapes from a few of our fans. I didn't like Billy Davies and his dirty tactics but that's part of football and Burley was too clueless to deal with them. Davies did an excellent job with limited resources whilst Burley blew large amounts of cash and just barely scraped into the playoffs. We only really have ourselves to blame. Anyway, they got relegated the following year with one win and a record low points total, I think that's punishment enough.

Since the turn of the year we've looked pretty much like a midtable side. I think we're 11th in the recent form table and if you take away the Sunderland game we'd be about 15th in the 'goals for' column for the whole season. Nobody is denying we've had a good season but this team isn't beyond criticism the way they're playing at the moment. Since the new year Pelle, Davis, JWP, Djuricic and Long have scored once between them. That's a very poor return from 5 of our main attacking players however you dress it up. I haven't read too much on here I would consider unreasonable. Only the usual 3 or 4 idiots out of the hundreds of posters.

I remember that day too. Woke up to hear Bin Laden had been shot, flew out to Ibiza and Saints got promoted. The run in was mental. We won 13 of our last 15 games and still only just made it. I went to the Rochdale game too which we lost in the middle of that amazing run. Sat in traffic on the M5 and M6 for about 7 hours and only just made kick off, despite leaving early enough for a late afternoon in the pub. One the way home my mate said, "if anyone asks we spent the afternoon bumming each other. It's much less embarrassing." Pretty much summed up that trip.

7 rounds of Premier League fixtures remaining and 5 in the Championship, things are starting to take shape. At the bottom of the Prem I'd say the likes of Palace and Newcastle are pretty much safe with West Brom almost there. That leaves Sunderland Hull Villa Burnley QPR Leicester Out of that lot there is only really Burnley I'd want to stay up in particular, for family reasons. I almost want QPR to stay up just to prove that Redknapp isn't the great manager the media think he is. The rest I'm not bothered about. At the top of the Prem it looks like two from Bompey, Watford, Norwich and Boro to go up automatically. For me Bompey and Watford would be best as they are down South and grounds I've never been to. Also Bompey in the Prem It also looks like 2 more from Derby, Wolves, Brentford and Ipswich joining them in the playoffs. I'd quite like Brentford from that lot, again just for lols and because it's local. There only team I wouldn't want is Boro as I've been there already and it's a long drive (and a sh*t hole).
