When thousands of people are paying £50 for a ticket you can't just say, "nah we can't really be arsed for Sunday." What it comes down to is whether a bunch of players, after a long grueling season, will be willing to lunge into 50/50 tackles and headers or go sprinting full pelt to get back and defend. Or will it be in their mind that they're jetting off on a private yacht around Ibiza in 12 hours and they'd rather not spend 6 weeks in the physio room unable to walk instead. Not saying it will be easy, just don't read anything into these press conferences.

Lambert should be nowhere near the squad. Shaw is still injured I think and we've got enough decent LB not to need him if there are doubts. Vardy though... I remember a time when Fowler, Le Tissier, Ian Wright and Andy Cole couldn't get into the team.

I don't get that argument. He isn't relegation prone, he's just been playing in a really crap QPR team for a couple of seasons. Kelvin has seen just as many relegations and has gone down with 3 different clubs. QPR are in for a very tough season in the Champ and may well go straight down to League 1. I doubt Green will want to be any part of that and may well take a pay cut (he's probably already got a relegation clause in his contract) to get away from there.

How is it better than any other striped shirt? The shoulders don't line up properly. A similar but better effort was this one from our first Championship season.

Even a draw would suffice although realistically it would take an 11 goal swing even if Arsenal win both games.
