Depends entirely on who they bring in to replace him. Personally I think it's bad for them and good for us. Not that I thought Parky was a genius or anything, it's just that instability at such a crucial time of the season isn't good. The new man will have no time to bring in new January signings and by the time he will have gotten to know the squad, there will only be a couple of months left of the season. In short, could go either way, but at the moment I'd say good.

Harding. I could probably count the number of times I've seen him beaten on one hand.
-
Glad I'm not the only one who noticed this. Excellent though Guly has been in recent games, he hasn't quite been good enough to change the past. Perhaps the Daggers fans trousers spoke to wouldn't have been quite so over-awed if they'd seen his performance against Shrewsbury, Rochdale or Brentford. Anyway onwards and upwards. Surely this thread has run its course now.

Wasn't Chaplow one of Burley's targets originally? It's unlikely I know, but I'd absolutely love it if we could get him back. It's certainly plausible, with us in 2nd, we could be in the same league as Reading in 6 months time. Must be an option he's considered, especially if he isn't a regular for the Royals.

We're going over old ground here but the sacking clearly wasn't driven by results. There must have been something behind the scenes (and we've all got wild theories about what) which none of us really know. Was happy with Pardew. Happy with Adkins. C'est la vie.
-
He brings it on entirely himself. Hence he is on my ignore list. Bit of a face palm there. When has any team ever gone through a season without injuries? You only have to think back to those games when Lallana was injured and we didn't score for a month. If Lallana, Lambert, Chaplow or AOC got injured, we'd be looking decidedly dodgy again. Another winger, striker and midfielder if you please Mr Adkins.
-
6 goals in half a season? When we signed Lambert he'd just scored 29 for Bristol Rovers.
-
Christ I hope not. £1m is the going rate for a top end, 30 goal a season, League 1 striker, i.e. Lambert, Fryatt. Guly is NOT that good and there is no way Austin is worth £2m. Plus the fact Austin is a bit of a pr*ck by most accounts and may sour the dressing room. I wouldn't sign him at all TBH. I'd offer £500k for Guly and find another striker for closer to the £750k area. We don't want to get held to ransom here.

Let's NOT lose to Blackpool. Neither team is that bothered about a cup run this season. Blackpool could well rest a few players and don't want a draw any more than we do. I reckon it'll be end to end stuff from both teams and at home we can give anyone a game. I vote we go all out for a win and see what happens.

Great win. Brighton's last minute winner is a bit of a bummer, but they've been inconsistent really. If we carry on like that, we will get them over the rest of the season. Wednesday were about the only team we've gained ground on, but never mind. We can only worry about our own results.

Brentford level.

Perhaps he saw this thread and decided to get his own tits out when he scored.

Anyone else watching SSN? Sheffield Utd Mascot staging a sit in protest against the arrest of the Deepdale Duck.

Just switched my TV on and it was on ITV4. The Schedule at the bottom of the screne said; 9:50 - The Champions 10:50 - The Saint I'm pretty sure this is an omen and I thought I'd share it with you.
-
Anyone who has ever been 'voted off' a TV show. Except Lucy Pinder, as Saints fans we can forgive her for that. WAGs NDubz

The only people I know who find McIntyre funny are women who want to sleep with him and try to disguise it by liking his supposed "comedy". He is a mong.
-
He took over Saints, 12th in the Championship, spent £10m over 2 years and left with us in 13th. Nuff said.

My bad. Went there last season and just assumed the upper tier was roughly the same as the lower. Either way it's a soulless hole in the ground.
-
20,000 in the lower tier. They also have the upper tier, which hasn't had the seats fitted yet. Presumably because they've never been close to needing them. The official capacity is probably 20,000 but in reality it's a massive stadium with half the seats missing.
-
Yeah, I'd go with that too. Feel a bit bad dropping Guly after scoring 2 goals, but you should always pick the strongest team and for me that includes Barnard. Could have had a hat trick in his 20 mins yesterday if he was a bit sharper.
-
MK Dons 8,000 averages in a 40,000 stadium. It's such a soulless dump. No wonder they haven't bothered putting seats in the upper tier.
-
Just seen our 20s on FLS. Lallana had no right to score from there, 'keeper definitely at fault. Good finishes from Guly and a really poachers goal for Barnard.
