I didn't know the players had a train. I think we're paying them too much.

We should at least do something. I'd hate to have another Delgado situation on our hands.

I don't think this will help in the slightest. One of the things I dislike most about Britain is the alcohol culture. I've been around a lot of European countries and most people can generally enjoy a few social drinks in moderation without overdoing it. In Britain it seems to be some kind of achievement to get incapacitated on alcohol. Take the Pompey game for example. People were off to the pubs at 8am to get the beers in before getting on the bubble. Seriously, 8am? The last thing I feel like doing at 8am is getting smashed. Personally I have 3 or 4 pints on a Saturday afternoon because I'm at the football and if I'm not I don't bother drinking. A lot of people seem to drink for the sake of drinking. I don't get "pre-drinks" either. The concept of sharing a bottle of vodka around before going on a night out so as to get hammered cheaply before heading out into town. I go out with friends to have a good time and have a few drinks whilst I'm at it. I've never gone out with the sole purpose of getting hammered. Sadly there is no real way of changing people's cultural perceptions, so I doubt any laws will change things in the near future.

So a 3 match ban would become 4 if they decide the appeal is frivolous. Sounds good to me.

Cardiff at home is the only game this season when a Saints penalty has been the decisive goal. Would move us 1 point down and Cardiff up 2 if we're assuming the rest of history is completely unaffected. FWIW Penalties this season Cardiff - home - 1-1 draw Brighton (2) - home - 3-0 win Watford - home - 4-0 win Birmingham - home - 4-1 win No penalties away from home yet.

That sort of is my basis.

I vote for Port Vale.

Slacking people, it's been over an hour since the Hammers game ended FFS! I'm guessing Hammond will start, probably instead of Morgan. I'd like Puncheon on the wing instead of Guly, not that I'm criticising Guly I just rate Puncheon better as a winger. Other than that the rest can stay the same. Would prefer to see De Ridder on the bench instead of Connolly. Or Chaplow or even Barnard, I really don't see the point in having DC in the squad with the options we've now got.

They come over here, taking jobs from our Dans.

I'll take that. Shame we couldn't get a winner, but 4 points against Wham this season is a decent result. Shame no other results really went for us, although a bore draw between Brum and Hull is pretty good. Brum struggling to score at home in their last 3 games, hopefully the sting has gone from their recent form. Only 5 games remaining against teams in the top half, although they do include trips to Leeds, Boro and Hull. We can win this. Come on Saints!! P.S. My thread was better.

Christ, my heart rate is high enough as it is.

Second successive 0-0 draw for Brum at home. Might have taken the sting out of their form a bit.

You remind me of listening to Motty commentate on England. "Yes, England look very comfortable here. Very good in defence. I don't think xxxxxx are going to score now. England wont let this 3-2 lead slip in the last 5 minutes.... Oooohhhh!!!"
-
He always does when we're cruising in 2nd gear against awful teams.
-
Off all the strikers we've got why Connolly...
-
Get in Jos!!!! YES!!!!!!!!
-
Lee. Connolly wont chance this. No penalty, quelle surprise.

As much as I love THEVMAN's inside gossip, I'm glad he's keeping schtum today. Can do without Wham knowing our team several hours in advance.

Argentina upping the ante on the Falklands....

No, they can keep that. -

We should give up the Falklands immediately. Penn is right, this kind of colonial nonesense is out dated and immoral. I trust the Argies will do likewise and f**k off back to Spain? -
Good luck to him. Sadly there are just too many people called Lee at the club these days.

Did Leeds away 2 years ago. Absolutely froze my tits off. Leeds were sh*te, Saints were sh*te and only one moment of brilliance from Snograss stopped it being a 0-0 bore draw. It's hardly a happy hunting ground for us either, we beat them 3-0 under Burley but that's about it really. Went to the last one on the bingo bus, which was alright because I was with a mate, had an empty seat next to me and no p*ssed up kn*bbers singing out of tune all day. I think the highlight of the day was on the bus on the way out seeing some lardy Leeds fan fall fat on his backside on the ice, only to look up and see 3 coaches of Saints fans giving him the sign language. Says it all really, they can shove their £36 tickets (£39 with our T/O I suppose) where the sun doesn't shine, although that could be anywhere in Yorkshire.

Rangers going into Admin, just on SSN.

Okay, bit of a weird analogy I'll give you that. My point was if you had been wronged by another Saints fan, would you let them off, just because they were a Saints fan? Why can't you respond to the issue at hand instead of silly remarks about my manhood. You say you will never grass on someone from your city. Well, I have to applaud your tribalism in this regard. There are hundreds of sh*tbags out there who would quite happily break into your house or car, mug your elderly relatives at knifepoint etc. etc. so they could pay for some cheap booze and a packet of fags. I find it astonishing that you would be willing to forgive and forget just because they live in an SO postcode. Anyway, a thread in which Charlie Wayman is the voice of reason is a bit too weird for me, and for that reason; I'm out.
