Can't see why anyone would want a Posh win. They may be 3 points behind, but have by far the easier run in. Posh haven't got a tricky fixture in any of their last 5 games, a trip to Orient being perhaps the toughest, with 3 home bankers in there too. Udders have trips to Brighton, Charlton and MK. Can't really see more than 8 points for Udders in their last 5. I'd say Posh look good for 13.

He's done it in the NpC before, he's only 25 so he can do it again. I don't see why Pompey fans wouldn't rate him. His 12 goals so far this season is comparable to Barnards 14 or Lamberts 17 (probably 5 pens in there too). Especially bearing in mind Pompey are pretty average (have scored 50 goals compared to our 70). If he's available on a free, I think he would be a decent signing. I'm not too sure who you think we're going to get. A team newly promoted to the Championship is hardly going to attract Premier League players. I think we need a reality check here. IF we go up, we wont be a big fish in a little pond. There are plenty of similarly sized clubs like Leicester, Derby, Reading and whoever misses out on promotion from Leeds, Norwich, Cardiff, Forest and Swansea.

Think Beatts is one of those players who just needs a little loving (that and not playing top division football). Would be a great alternative to Lambert if we go up (and we will need options up front). I'd love it if we could get Beattie and Nugent on sensible wages. Especially as their would be bugger all involved in transfer fees. Beatts, Nugent, Barny and Lambert up front in NpC... I've just made a mess in my pants.
