I find Coldplay extremely boring and pretentious. Their show (what I could be bothered to see of it) was decidedly average, which is still much better than most of the 'music' at Glastonbury this year. God I sound like my grandparents.

There have been too many suicides in my family for me to feel comfortable with any kind of suicide. I am not out to judge anyone else's moral choices, but I would prefer to live in a country where suicide is not promoted as a healthcare choice. When the time comes, I am prepared to suffer if necessary. That, to me, is dignity.

I have understood that many attackers (not just sex attackers) will choose their victims by physical demeanour. Therefore a confident-looking woman is much less likely to be attacked than a woman walking with her head down. Dress may have less to do with it.
