Orient have been stumbling of late. Playoffs now less likely, confidence probably a bit down, I expect us to win. Rochdale's a different story. They are on a roll. I'm sure they'd love to do the double on us & I wouldn't rule out this possibility. Basically I would be surprised if we got more than 3 points from these two games.

I feel the same. Whenever I see Saints play we seem to not only lose but put in an memorably dreadful performance.

I couldn't wait to see Delap gone. James Beattie was one of the worst, when he left I felt it cemented the end of Saints in the Prem.

I think we will need 83 points to secure automatic promotion. Assuming Huddersfield and Peterborough continue along their points per game trajectory for the rest of the season, but with a 15% increase from this for a buffer. This translates to 16 points for both of them (2 pts per game) for the rest of the season, Posh ending on 82 and Huddersfield on 83. This seems realistic and shows that they are by no means infallible. I've discounted goal difference because I just don't see anyone even Posh surpassing ours. This means we'll need 83, or only 18 from our last 10 games. But we're Saints, so it will inevitably be harder in real life...

I'm worried, it seems you have to be better to get out of this league than I thought. Something else to keep in mind - there are some big teams coming down to L1 next year (Sheff Utd and Preston, & Palace aren't out of it yet). If we don't go up this year, we could find ourselves in this league for a long time.

Good result for them last night, actually I've been watching their results for the past month or two. I'm guessing they could sneak into the playoffs. Their chairman is a bit of a **** but that seems fairly standard for smaller clubs in this league.

God I wish I was going to this one. Peterborough's a fantastic town to drink especially for real ales, and cheap as well. Griffo is spot on about Charters and the Brewery Tap.
