I've been trying to gain weight this year so I can afford a home shirt that fits.

God does exist and he/she/it has a sense of homour. The sh*t (good and bad) going on at Saints over the last five years couldn't have happened naturally.
-
I think there is a miniscule chance of a few innocents being locked up in there, but the majority of them have done something very, very bad. We aren't talking about nicking a bike or perverting the cause of justice here.
-
Well put. Perhaps we should not have gone down that season but really we should have been relegated on a few previous occasions. Also winning promotion to the Prem and Prem stability (if there is such a thing outside of the top 4) are two different things.

What about the Bradford fire, hardly gets a mention. I guess since they aren't a 'big club' their supporters lives' don't matter

Good luck to AFC Wimbledon in their Play-Off final

Interesting as if AFC Wimbledon win it will be just one league between them & McDons. I'm still pulling for Luton Town though, a 'local'-ish club who got completely screwed over. -
The thing is, a lot of those people won't be coming out. They are either in for life, or they'll be convicted of further crimes while they're inside so that they'll die in prison, or they'll be killed, or get AIDS.

The only one I as aware of was Niall Quinn's long and fruitful reign at Sunderland...

Magna Tandoori on Tavistock is nice, best takeaway in Bedford is Le Raj but they don't have a restaurant.

Donuts, I work in MK. I'll have to try this one, thanks for the tip.

It was in Derby, in 2001. I was drunk, can't remember restaurant's name.

I think Gobern may do alright. Jaidi and Connelly, well it's a tough business so as much as I'd hate to let them go I'd be surprised if they would be NPC material.
-
West Ham and Blackpool please. The other I'm not fussed about.

A crap league with crap grounds in crap towns with crap fans. F*ck off League 1.

Should we be at all concerned about Nigel Adkins leaving?

The amount of times our best managers and players have been poached (we even lost Burley!), it is understandable to get a bit nervous whenever we do well. I just don't see NA going anywhere, at least not at this stage. He wouldn't be first choice for most Prem teams as he isn't a 'big name', and most Championship clubs around us would be a step down for him. I could envisage a situation in the not-too-distant future, around November or December at the earliest, where NA is drawn to a struggling Prem team (say Norwich) who have just sacked/lost their manager. Or our NPC season doesn't go exactly as planned, we're languishing in mid table, and he goes to a more successful NPC club (for example West Ham if they go down but do well next year). All hypothetical though and certainly not worth worrying about. -
Huddersfield have already thrown in the towel !!

I'm glad they're not playing Bournemouth... -
Maybe Mickey Mouse is looking to but PFC. He's the perfect owner, especially in light of the fact that he doesn't actually exist...
-
I saw that about Riordan too, he used to be a brilliant player, not so sure now.

There is a massive difference between Prem and NPC but not as much as, say five years ago in my opinion. There are always a few clubs in the Championship who are too big to be there whereas a lot of dross has crept into the Prem. Like Blackpool... Somehow Blackpool ever having been in the Premiership takes the shine off possible Prem status for Saints, it's like ****ging the girl of your dreams after your ugly little teenage cousin has had her.
