That bbc draw was a bit inept. Had Wigan or Southampton come up in bar with numbers and then presenter completely got the draw wrong in her summary. Reasonably happy with the draw.

Jekyll and Hyde. First half utterly horrible. 2nd so much more composed. Got to give Hughes credit for actually causing an effect with his ht team talk and reasonable tactical moves. On the negative side, can we please have someone on penalties able to confidently place it right in the corner. Don’t care how hard gabbi hit it bbc it was a perfect height for a goalkeeper. Ohh and Carrillo is still garbage. Long was much better in his cameo imo.

Awful from Saints. Constant horrible long ball fare with still no end product. Not sure i’d Pay 19p for Carrillo. Very sporting of him to give the ball back to their keeper when he dropped it! Get sims and long on.

Glad to see Gabbi in. Disappointed to see Carrillo is still in. Would have liked to see Hesketh on the bench too. I'll be interested to see how Boufal/Tadic handle the conditions & being roughed up a little.

Sure we can try and get them. However they are the much harder games. Arsenal home record is extremely impressive. Man City have lost in the league once this season. I'd love to be confident of beating Chelsea at home but over the last few seasons we haven't beaten a top 5 side & they are going to be pretty desperate to catch Spurs in 4th. Both Everton and Leicester are tough away games i'd normally take a draw from. If we don't maximise our points in the 3 very winnable games we are going to require much more bonus points from the tougher ones.

Looking pretty bad for Saints. Simply have to beat West Ham next week. Then get wins against Swansea & Bournemeouth. Then anything from tough ties against Chelsea, Leicester, Everton, Arsenal, Man City is bonus points.

Not someone i wanted anywhere near Saints as manager. Glad at least it's only a contract to the end of the season. Let's just hope he can do enough to keep us out of the relegation zone.

Yes I have. What’s comical is that we appear to be after a manager who has performed poorer than Pellegrino this season in league and FA Cup. Next we’ll find out Pardew is their second choice because he is doing such a fantastic job at wba.

WOuld sum up saints if they finally sacked Pellegrino only to replace him with the appalling Hughes. Worse still is the thought he’ll likely linger even if he got us relegated. Hoping bookies know nothing & club have a much better option up their sleeve.

Hughes, a surefire way to depress me straight after the relief of Pellegrino sacking. I'd prefer Bilic to that horrible manager.

Horrible performance. That’s 1 point from 2 six pointers with one more to go. Horrible tactical changes made at ht Even in the short period we dominated possession at 1-0 we were our usual toothless self. 2nd goal really annoyed me, lemina fell over and then Cedric kept backing off rather than engaging the player running with the ball. Maybe he was shocked as none of our players ever run with the ball. If he gets sacked that might be a positive to take from this debacle. Hopefully we get Silva in and he shakes things up.

Sack him & get Silva in.

Another annoying draw. Fact the idiot in charge was content to sit around for an hour before going more attacking was appalling. Redmond was very good today as was sims. Not sure what Romeu does to justify selection ahead of the excellent hojberg. Oh and that record transfer signing of a striker is abominable. At least we have been better away.Now we’ve got 2 make or break away games. If we don’t win them we are heading down.

Got to say i think they should just stick with goal line technology & not use VAR. VAR seems to create delays, confusion & often ends up making as many contentious decisions as a regular ref on the spot because the sorts of decisions it is analysing are more complex than simple over line/not over line.
