Very happy with performance of some of the squad players. Smallbone was very good, Valery looks like a cb and a.armstrong was quite lively. Caballero with a nice save at 2-1 after muck up for their goal but still unsure why we played him.

Caballero isn’t even our second choice.

Exactly my thought he’s taken out the (salisu, bednarek, Romeu, Adams & Broja) who i’d Argue are our better aerial players against a really physical team that’s good at set pieces.

Guess Ralph doesn’t think much of the cup. Wants the extra money for league placing. Shame can’t see us progressing with that lineup. West ham will be licking their lips at the prospect of set pieces.

Don’t see any logic in playing caballero. Does forster really need resting to prevent fatigue?

I’d hope Nato would react differently if it was a nato country. A lot would depend on US willingness I suspect.
