eh??

We're top of the league, but they're at home. We'll be hurting from Saturday's result. They'll be confident after getting their 1st away win. NA will have the lads well prepared and highly motivated (Especially if West Hame beat Barnsley to draw level on points) Could be a cracker, and I think our "togetherness" will see us through. 1-2 to Saints.

The "I'm on the bus for the skate game" roll call
FarehamRed replied to Spudders's topic in The Saints
Another one for Bursledon Bus 3. Can't wait. -
Our indifferent away form and their decent home form makes them slight favourites. Which will suit us, as the pressure wil be on them in front of their "fans". All of which means we'll win. (Weatherspoons for a fry up and couple of beers, then Bursledon Bus No3 here I come).

Looking at the table, Doncaster don't score many goals - 15 in total. Makes me think that if we score one, we'll probably win. This being the case, I wonder if NA will be tempted to rest RL. We have some big games coming up against Blackpool and someone else, plus a busy Christmas period. Would have thought we have at least one goal in us, even without RL. Guly & Barnard to start I reckon.

Bursledon bus number, get in! :-) -
Portsmouth away tickets - ballot reopened!

Not heard a dickie bird so far. No email, no money taken from account, nothing. Just have to sit tight to a couple of days I suppose. -
Can't speak for anyone else, but for me there's a luck of trust in the ticket office. Would be the first time they've messed it up for me....
-
Has everyone had their money deducted? Put my application in (actually went down there and physically handed it over), but no money taken as yet. I wonder when I should start to panic....
-
Incidentally, I had a "tweet" from Solent saying that tickets for home fans (yes, both of them) are now on general sale to people already on the database. Just in case I'm not successful in the ballot, anyone got a skate mate?? ;-)

Billy Davies and the Skates. A perfect match. They're both ****s.

Derby. (Cheating c**ts).

If we were still at the Dell, where would be in the leagues?
FarehamRed replied to 1976_Child's topic in The Saints
If we were at the Dell, we'd have never been relegated from the PL when we were - the bike shed simply would not have allowed it. We would have been taken over while still in the PL, and a new ground would have been built. We'd be in the CL by now. Just to provide an alternative point of view ;-) -
saints knocking it around quite nicely - a bit unlucky with the og.

Definite straight red, but having one lunatic in the side may be be a bad thing. Remember when we were here last time and we got bullied every week? Won't happen with Chappers. 8-)

How many people have moved ST seats this season?
FarehamRed replied to doddisalegend's topic in The Saints
I've moved back to the Itchen so I can welcome the Skates in the traditional way... ;-) -
Well, he's half right. ;-)

P'boro chairman on SSN saying that basically there are 11 clubs interested in CMS, including a Prem teams and "big" clubs in the Ch'ship. To paraphrase- "let the auction begin".
-
We had Gold, Silver and Bronze games at the Dell priced differently (i.e. Man Yoo, Villa and someone like Bolton IIRC). I assume they could do the same again.
-
A point for us is a bit, er, pointless (excuse the pun). Our goal difference advantage is so big, that we way as well go all out for the win. Having said that, you're probably right. ;-)

If Saints are level at 90 minutes (or even a bit before) we will throw everything at them. Didn't a keeper score for Hartlepool yesterday in the 94th minute?

http://www.footballgroundguide.com/plymouth_argyle/#Where To Drink? The Brittania looks an option. Or there's always the Barbican & get a taxi to the ground.

Can understand why people are voting Fonte, but I like players with that "bit of magic", so it's Lallana for me. He's the type of player that I pay my money to watch.

I don't mind Norwich, they're harmless enough. But I don't want them to go up. IF Norwich go up and IF saints go up and we finish mid-table, next season, all we'll have on here is "fans" moaning that we didn't "do a Norwich". :-/
