  1. It’s a pun or play on words for “monster”.
  2. Sorry to be that person but Reynolds is Canadian.
  3. He’s going to be an awesome keeper. Glad we have him.
  4. Because they were big time Premier League gamble appointments at the time they were brought in. We are in a relegation fight nearly half way through the season. NJ is a massive gamble.
  5. Well, there’s nothing else for us to do now as fans but back him 100%. I did say the other day that if there’s one club that should have learned from past mistakes it should be us (think Luggy, Gray, Wigley). However I do like the way he comes across in his interviews and he will give his all, which gives me hope. I’m sure SR know what they are doing and he’s close to Matt Crocker. It’s very enjoyable watching a few bitter Stoke fans slag him off on social media. It’s a big gamble for us but I’d love him to build something special here.
  6. Most of the parents on the Palace documentary drove their kids to training too as the Palace training ground is actually close to Beckenham. Knowing south London, it can take a long time to get anywhere. One of the dads would drive his son from east London to training most evenings, which takes bloody ages.
  7. Will be great to see Shearer back at Saints and fair play to Jones for bringing fellow Welshman Chris Coleman with him.
  8. Your team really highlights what a shocking decision it was not to buy a striker. Absolutely zero threat.
  9. This is really weird. I have an old Nokia 3210 with a text on it from a Plymouth supporting mate who said the exact same thing about Sturrock in 2004.
  10. It’s just a shame how much our stock has fallen as a Premier League club in just a few years. We’ve gone from attracting Koeman to a Lowe-esque gamble on an unproven entity in a top league who’s only excelled in the lower tiers. The Sturrock appointment put the wheels in motion of our last top flight relegation. You’d have thought that if there is one club that would have learned from its past mistakes, it’s this one.
  11. The striker claim here is very worrying. Over the past decade, the club has prided itself on being able to unearth good quality players (minus Carillo) thanks to an extensive network of scouts. So why on earth wasn’t there a plan B or even a plan C in terms of potential strikers for us to sign if the Broja deal fell through? Why is a Premier League operation putting all its eggs in one basket for THE position that needed strengthening the most? This is the main reason we are in the bottom three. And if Jacob Tanswell is to be believed, Che Adams was also told he was free to leave in the summer? I just can’t get my head around it.
  12. Oh great, Chris Wood.
  13. Marsch in!!
  14. I’ve just heard Marsch told his players to channel that famous Leeds side who came from 3-0 down to beat Redknapp’s Southampton 4-3 in 2005. “do this for Robbie Blake, David Healy and Neil Sullivan!”, was the cry I believe.
  15. Broja was the player we should have broken the bank for. He will be a superstar.
  16. 12-15 points is an absolutely dreadful return by this stage of the season but perhaps we just need to realise that this is where we are these days. That’s either because Ralph isn’t good enough or the league has evolved too much around us and we’ve not moved on.
  17. Shame we were so bad in the first half. We won’t get anything from this now, Palace don’t give up leads.
  18. Caleta-Car We feel safest of all When he’s in our defence He can do anything - he’s Car
  19. Red Djed’s Redemption
  20. Awesome point.
  21. I’ve got a good feeling about this one. 2-1 to Saints.
  22. Not to be a conspiracy theorist but that reaction between Djenepo, Che and Ralph at the end was a bit weird. #drewsurmanderby
  23. Bazunu playing well again. #drewsurmanderby
  24. #drewsurmanderby
  25. I’ve just heard Joe Shields is interested in becoming Goztepe’s new director of recruitment.
