I feel sorry for him. I can't blame him taking the job as it is the pinnacle of an English manager's career. He seems a genuine, traditional chap who is clearly proud to be given the chance. But the subdued media reaction to his appointment is worrying. No fanfare, no saviour, it's like they are setting him up for the fall.

If we don't go up next season will be difficult and will probably be the one we were supposed to have this season.
