  1. Couldn't agree more. I've said from the get go AP needs a season and a half to be judged. The question was 'if not AP then who'? My answer would be Gus Poyet, maybe.
  2. Bottom line is.. tomorrow at 5pm. Then we'll know if this was a good result or not
  3. Gus Poyet maybe;), not that i would dare question the Messiah that is AP:rolleyes:
  4. I'd been wondering what that smell of TCP was every evening
  5. I've got a wife you can take out Saturday while I'm at SMS
  6. I lack the required intellect or imagination to figure out an alternative when we're at home, so sadly I'll be at SMS.
  7. Who's BMW do you want then?
  8. Will you be saying in 5 years time after any disappointing result, "6 years ago this club nearly died" etc etc.? Broadly speaking i agree with the sentiment, but I'm already fed up with people saying it, and it is also a bit of an exaggeration, few clubs that go into admin go bust. I recognize that you come from the evangelical wing of Saints fans, but do try to keep it in perspective.
  9. Any highlights at all, other than a rescued point?
  10. + 1
  11. Well it had me going for a minute, after the statue incident and the proposed 'sash' kit for next season, anything is possible.
  12. Does anyone else think he is suffering from jaundice ?
  13. Had a similar experience coming back from Sheff Wednesday in '84 on Andy Jealous's Monster coach.
  14. And i would agree AP has done a good job this season. I don't think is was outstanding, which some people who watch NC think he expects.
  15. I think the original poster is mixing up talk about AP's relationship with NC, which there has been a fair bit about, and talk of whether AP should be removed at the end of the season, which there hasn't. For what is worth, and I've said this plenty of times, if Saints are within 10 points of 6th place his job is secure, if Saints are outside that, expect a new manager next season. And before anyone jumps down my throught, that is what i think will happen, not what i want to happen. And as i think we will be comfortably within 10 points of 6th place, AP can relax and book his summer holidays.
  16. No Face paint, no wigs, no under 18s, no mexican wave up one side of the bus and down the other and i would be interested. Since the demise of the monster coach going to away games always on the train, except for a pub coach last weekend, has become bloody expensive.
  17. Not me in block 135, besides i was having a ball, lager and rum chasers from 7.30 in the morning always puts me in good spirits.
  18. I was in the Green Man, and satisfied. They were well geared up for the couple of thousand or so in there, but i guess they've had years of practice.
  19. 8 pints!!!!! Get real fella. As someone else pointed out you can add face painting by anyone older than 12 to the charge sheet. But you can be reassured i didn't let it spoil my day. Having said all that, if we had started a Mexican wave when 4 goals down that might just have been socially acceptable. I'll check my book on football crowd etiquette and get back to you.
  20. Why do it? it doesn't encourage the team. It does nothing other than make the participants look like ***ts. All respect to the Carlisle fans who ignored it.
  21. All great exempt the Mexican wave. Whoever started that is a tw£t. Fair play to the CUFC who ignored it.
  22. Maths not your strong point?
  23. Fiona Phillips is a Millbrook girl and Saints through and through
  24. He only runs when the chelsea come
  25. The Pilsburydoughboy. Malingering bast**d
