I've been on this forum in the past complaining at football clubs having a minutes silence at the drop of a hat. But if ever one was needed it was Saturday. A firefighter hasn't last their life in this city since the 2nd world war, and for two lives to be lost in one incident is a tragedy (not a disappointment as AP described it). So instead of a proper minutes silence (not applause FFS), the club is suggesting that these two brave servants of the city will be remembered along with Great Aunt Agatha who passed away peacefully at the age of 97 six years ago!!!!!!

It's always been "Come on you Reds" since I've been going (1975) although if we could change it to "Come on you Saints" it would be better. One thing at a time though. I still would like us to sing "Oh when the Saints" just steadily over and over, not starting too slow and getting faster, just one slowish pace throughout and then again without the repeated bit.

No. It has a guy wearing our traditional shirt ****ing on a shirt we wore for one season so long ago no living person was alive to remember it. And it's a guy wearing a shirt that I saw Saints wear when i first saw us play in the early 70's. And a guy wearing a shirt my old mum saw us play in the 50's; and a guy wearing a shirt my Grandfather first saw us wearing in the 30's.
