It is one of a set of pictures from a Russian source and published on TELEGRAM. This is a satellite image from before the attack that is reported to show the aircraft that was hit; ( from what I can work out, the image was taken on 16th August and released on 21st, after the attack, hence the confusing script in the top left )

Those Russian false flag ops are becoming more effective.

Not at all, hence "The bulk of the heat energy in the atmosphere comes from the sun", but since 1750 probably, and since 1900 certainly. It is the acceleration over 250 years that is human influenced, not the general trend over 30 thousand. Crap analogy; If the cold tap in your bath is running water into your bath at the rate of the maximum outflow through the drain hole the bath will not fill up. If you then turn on the hot tap slightly, the bath will eventually overflow. It's how far we might be throwing a system out of balance that matters, and it doesn't take a lot in comparison to the size of the overall system.

What, like the TELEGRAM thread is response to the death of a 6 year old Ukrainian girl in a missile strike, where someone put up a fake advert for childrens' shoes "no longer needed", and got over 40 thousand likes? Or perhaps the video chat on mainstream Russian TV where they discussed how to deal with Ukrainians ; If they don't want to be Russians then shoot them, beat them around the head with rifle butts and knock their teeth out to change their minds, or deport them all to Poland. Then again, maybe the gleeful news item about the successful strike of a ballistic missile on a theatre in Chernihiv, killing or injuring over a hundred people ? There you go, I have saved you the bother.

Currently on the BBC Sport website cricket page, 11 of the top 14 articles and videos are of the fucking Hundred. Not a mention of the one day cup.

He distorts things to suit his narrative. Early on he says that human activity is responsible for 1% of the heat energy in the atmosphere. Whilst this may be true, and the IPCC report does not have anything to say on this figure, it is disingenuous. The bulk of the heat energy in the atmosphere comes from the sun - without it the Earth would be a frozen inert block, and this energy keeps the temperature at a range suitable for life - currently at about 288 Kelvin average by his reckoning, ( 288 degrees above absolute zero - although he does seem to get his numbers confused as he actually says that the average temperature is about 300K ( 27C ) ). His 1% claim seems to be based on increasing this 288K, or 15 degrees Celcius average, by a small percentage, perhaps to 291K. Measured in Kelvin this seems to be insignificant, but this actually increases things by more than the 1.5 degrees the IPCC sets as a threshhold. What the IPCC report does state is "Human activities, principally through emissions of greenhouse gases, have unequivocally caused global warming, "

This is a view of Koonin from the more mainstream media..... https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/a-new-book-manages-to-get-climate-science-badly-wrong/ ".....Koonin’s intervention into the debate about what to do about climate risks seems to be designed to subvert this progress in all respects by making distracting, irrelevant, misguided, misleading and unqualified statements ....." ( You pay your money, you make your choice. )

We'd struggle to match his goal tally though.

Also, where is the line ? Convicted of 2 murders? Of 3 ? Does the age of the victim affect whether it is a capital crime ? Some would like the death penalty returned for terrorists or killers of Policemen, but it never served as a deterrent in the first half of the last century. And there is always the risk, however slight, of a miscarriage of Justice. Imagine if we had had the death penalty in the 70s with the Guildford and Woolwich pub bombings.

It was not a pointless post - what purpose are impact statements and Judge's remarks serving if the subject of them couldn't give a toss, or even views it as another chapter in their power trip ?
-
I know that is what the blurb states, but many EU5 diesels show as compliant on the TfL compliance checker.
-
In theory almost all cars registered since September 2011 are ULEZ compliant, or at least they were when built. How well they have been maintained is another issue.......

Perhaps another forum will make an offer for him.

Warrior- FYI, the above is the authentic sight and sound of "Gammon".
-
Having her present in Court might, in some little way, helped the families of her victims, but I don't think it would have made one iota of difference to her, and she may have treated it as one last chance to satisfy her egotistical lust for power and control as the Impact Statements washed over her without any acknowledgement or emotion.

Technically she has been given 14 whole life terms, but this is little compensation for the families of the dead children or those having to care for those that have been left severely disabled having "survived" her tender ministrations. How do you effectively deal with pure incarnate evil ?

It is possible for JWP to have a good season without WHU doing the same ?

President Zelensky at a press conference, when asked whether Ukraine would concede territory for peace, said that Ukraine is happy for Russia to retain Belgorod.

Due to corruption, what actually hit the moon was a house brick wrapped in tin foil. Didn't launch from Baikonur, it went from their new space base in Vostochny in the far East of the country.

A stroll in the Guildford sunshine so far, a quiet stress free Sunday afternoon. ( Hope that doesn't jinx things ).

What, that Parky asked her if her breats detracted from people's opinions of her acting ?
