If Trump is able to bring an end to the war that is acceptable to Ukraine then that will obviously be an excellent outcome. However, why has he taken the course he has ? Why not lean heavily on Putin from day 1 ? What was the purpose of humiliating Zelensky in the White House on live TV ? Trump is erratic and unreliable, and no specific individual outcome alters that.
