Cultural differences spreading further south

So, is this an apparent "Muslim" thing or a "Pakistani" thing ? -
Cultural differences spreading further south

In Rochdale MBC it's just under 10% of the population, in the town centre it's nearer 20%. And remember this predominantly seems to be a problem for British born men of Pakistani origin, not the wider Muslim population. -
Thanks for adding such an informed comment to the debate.

Perhaps not en masse, but London is the largest international financial market for the Euro zone - if we leave, the Germans & French won't let that continue.

He truly doesn't have a clue. The problem with education in this country is that everybody involved in the sector within central Government, ( whatever political persuasion ), obsesses with 'reforming' and 'improving', and leaving their own mark on history during their short tenure within whatever the Department calls itself this month. Most of these people have no experience of working in the sector, their last experience of the classroom was the last day of 6th form. None of the changes are ever given time to bed in before being declared as failures, if indeed they are ever actually needed. ( This is not solely my opinion, it is also shared by most of the teachers I know, including the one I'm married to ).

I'm not letting Trousers monopolise this thread : http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-22536437 "UK unemployment has risen to 2.52 million, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) has said." ".....an ONS spokesman told the BBC the figures suggested the recent period of falling unemployment "seems to have come to an end"."

Is there a variation of Godwin's Law whereby any Internet forum thread, if running long enough, will inevitably end up including a quote from WSC ?

On the basis that all of our pet skates seem to have voted no, he should definitely stay.

Are you any better at predictions than Dalek ?

If Villa beat Wigan then 35 points and a GD of -26 or better would have kept you up.
-
So, 39 points would have been enough after all.

So, to summarise : David Cameron makes a pledge to the British public that if the Tories win the next election, and if he can re-negotiate the terms of our EU membership, we will get an In/Out vote. ( No mention of what happens if he cannot re-negotiate ). Now we have a group of Tory MPs who obviously don't understand the compromises necessary when in coalition with a pro-EU partner, who also don't seem to trust that DC will deliver on his promise, and want to go against all precedent and introduce an amendment to their own Government's Queen's Speech. In response, DC instructs his Conservative Cabinet members that they must abstain in the vote on the QS amendment, he then drafts a pointless 'Bill' that will try to place the In/Out vote on the statute books, and is now casting around for a back bencher to promote it as a Private Members' Bill, that will fail due to lack of Parliamentary time, ( and the fact that the LDs would vote against it with Labour, should it ever get that far ). What a shambles.

9/10. Maybe my time at KES wasn't completely wasted. -
The only thing more fishy than the phew - Fleetwood Town's mascot, Captain Cod.
-
Agreed - 3 points is the #1 priority.
-
But you have told us ad infinitum that if we had 39 we WOULD DEFINITELY go down.
-
This. As has been said by several others, we seem to have become 'shot shy' in the last few weeks, ( possibly a lack of top level experience leading to some 'jitters' ), but other than the WBA game, we havn't been playing badly. Also, the improvement in players such as J-Rod and Steve Davis is very encouraging.

There's still a good possibility that we'll finish 11th. If we beat Stoke and Newcastle & Norwich both fail to win, ( if Reading could also beat WHU we'd finish 10th ).
-
Because if they do, and we draw today, Villa would finish below us.
-
That means you expect Wigan to beat Arsenal. If they don't then the net GD switch from us losing our games, plus Wigan beating Villa, ( having drawn at the Emirates ), has to be at least 12, that's three 4-0s.

If you are a tenant it might be wise to check the T&C's regarding the use of the space, there may be a clause about cars having to be legal for road use.
-
I would think not, as I suspect the car park is a 'public' road. 'Off road' means exactly that.

Whilst most of what she says is ******, there is an interesting question regarding the age of consent - why is it lower in most of the rest of Europe ? Is their attitude towards the sexuality of children, and approach to preventing the exploitation of minors, different to ours ?
