Obviously Aaron Ramsey did

Suarez refuse to shake Evra's hand. Has Dalglish gone mental?
badgerx16 replied to TopGun's topic in General Sports
That's a bit harsh on Fergie and Dalglish -
Apparently it's Aaron Ramsey's fault : On May 1st 2011 Aaron Ramsey scored the only goal in a 1-0 win over Manchester United, the next day Osama bin Laden was killed. On October 19th, 2011 Aaron Ramsey scored the only goal in a 1-0 win over Marseille, the next day Muammar Gaddafi was killed. Yesterday he scored against Sunderland.......

As for the Red Bull, am I right in thinking there are air inlets in the 'step' of the nose ? ( It certainly looks like it )

A Sheff Wed fan fell through the floor of the ( temporary ) away stand during the first FA Cup game.

I was asked at work today "Who do you want to win, Blackpool or Portsmouth ?". I asked why and the response was "Whilst you might hate them, we are promotion rivals". My answer to that was that I wanted Blackpool to win "Because the fewer points they ( P**pey ) have when they get docked, the more likely they are to be relegated, but as it is also likely they may cease to exist then Blackpool would lose the 3 points anyway".

HollowHead is supposed to have the same arrangement here at Bloomfield Road

The fact that the USofA elected Dubya and Raygun is more a condemnation of Americans than of their electoral system, flawed though it might be.

HR won't take the England job for one reason - no transfer fees to milk.

And behind them we didn't play our first choice keeper, either.

There is only 1 team in Manchester, as all Citeh fans will attest. Were HMG asked to assist Kettering ? Where was their MP ?

We were not going to win the FA Cup, and we are still second in the Championship. There are no more distractions, just the league to concentrate on. The team showed in the first three months of the season they are good enough, NA has now to prove that he has the motivational ability to get them back in the right frame of mind. If we beat Burnley and draw at Wet Sham, which we are quite capable of doing, things will look a lot brighter. All that matters is that at the final whistle on the last day of the season, we are +1 on goal difference ahead of the team in 3rd place.

The Prime Minister is technically not selected by the electorate or MPs - after a General Election the Privy Council advise the reigning monarch as to who should be invited to try to form a Government, protocol dictates that the first choice is the leader of any party with an overall majority in the Commons, if such exists. If there is not a majority, the next option is usually that the leader of the largest party is invited to try to form either a minority Government or a coalition, and he/she reports back as to whether they have been successful, if not the next largest group might be invited, or if no sustainable Government can be formed, a new election is called.

On an associated point, why can the Scots have 'Scotland the Brave', the Welsh have 'Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau'', but the English have GSTQ at 6 nations matches ? Liz2 is the Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Nostalgia ain't what it used to be. I acknowledge the past, I may have learnt from it, but I don't live there.

If being British is living in the past. It's never been a 'part' of me or my life.

See if you feel the same with Chuck and the horse faced one in place.

The people you are interviewing for jobs are younger than your children.

Why is it that this forum finds so many ways to rake up the same old set of arguments ? We had exactly the same discussion about 2 weeks ago. Staunchly Republican, but will tolerate Lizzie as she is keeping Chuck off the throne.

How do you know that behind the scenes they didn't do something for her ? At the end of the program he replaced all the tackle they had lost to the trawlers, so he did something for them.

Gym at least once a week, minimum 45 mins walk every lunchtime, plus if it's not blowing a gale I'll try to get in a 40 mile bike ride at weekends. Half term next week so there should be at least one hike in the Lakes District, ( nice and cold as well ! ).

Was booked for winning a tackle in the 1st half.
