RESTORE OUR RIGHT TO PRIORITY TICKETS FOR HOME GAMES - PLEASE!!!!!
DuncanRG replied to 42's topic in The Saints
Your friend or family member has to go to games, same as someone who isn't related to a season ticket holder. If you're concerned about 'true fans' getting tickets that seems reasonable to me! -
I struggle to understand why messageboard users would have agendas or what they might be

I remember at the end of last season they were comparing their stats and Walcott actually came off better. Bale's moving to the next level now but in England Theo was just as good. Sad that he's so prone to injury
-
Exactly. The same reason Pulis is a contender.

Gareth Bale - 1 in 3 Jason Puncheon - 4 in 3 The figures don't lie.

Good, positive stuff. -
I've been wondering as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Not quite following what you mean Is there a problem with this sentence? 'We'd never spend £130m on an entire new team, and keeping our current team is little different to doing that'
-
Good lord. Gary Roberts!
-
...except you're not spending £25-30 million. In fact, you're not spending anything! We'd never spend £130m on an entire new team, and keeping our current team...you get the picture.

Chronically injured thirty-one-year-old Championship midfielder Shaun Maloney?

If it's contractual reasons you have to assume that it's someone who already has dates or a festival announced. Metallica would fit, Kate Bush probably wouldn't because her shows are all sold out.
-
Just as well nobody has! I really don't think you can argue with that three. Pelligrini for Martinez if he wins the league and Everton drop.

Is it one or two years left on Ramirez's contract? I expect Guly, Osvaldo and the last of the lower league hangers-on to be off. Maybe Hooiveld/Yoshida. Of the players we don't want to lose I suppose Shaw, Clyne and Schneiderlin are most at risk. Might have to offer Clyne a better contract. It's obvious that they favour Chambers over Clyne, but it's interesting to think how that relates to their supposed intention to move him to centre half. Is it that they can only give him the necessary experience out wide?

He wanted to be closer to home.

I hope Glasgow at least has better hair
-
Exactly. He was good for us last year but not a player we'll move forward with. Ramirez probably won't be either but at least has the potential.
-
If we lose the next four games it'll be because we're not bothered. We'll be bothered next season
-
Are we really still talking about Puncheon? Come on
-
We were lofting it to Lambert at the back post all game. There's plenty of variety in our play, just need to step up the movement to get through packed defences.
-
I'd also fancy Mats Moller Daehli if we were in the business of buying our teenagers rather than growing them. He's got bags of potential.

Villa aren't a close rival. We'd resist selling Schneiderlin to anyone but could end up selling him to Spurs/Arsenal/Everton/Utd, a team that's above us but not miles away. That's how I see us in relation to Stoke. Stump up the cash (which would have to be considerable, to be fair) and we'd have every chance of getting him. Fabianski's always looked decent when he's played but would have to prove a lot to earn his place. I suppose that's exactly what we're looking for, though. Schmeichel will stay at Leicester.

It's not easy to do that when they've set up to play on the break. All you can really do is concede possession to them and let them dictate, which would be much worse. What we needed in the second half was runners in behind. There was plenty of that in the first half from Ramirez, Lallana and Davis and we looked dangerous there. The big thing I noticed was how often Lambert was running at the defence and trying to get away in behind - not his strong suit. That would normally be J-Rod's job. Gallagher had a few lively moments in the second half but for most of it (especially after the goal) our attackers were stood like statues on the last defender. We lumped it in constantly to Lambert, Gallagher and Guly when he came on. Nobody seemed to trust Sam with the ball at his feet like they would the others, so Lallana never got the time to make runs before Cardiff got the ball back.
