Jack Stephens cares about our club and I for one am pleased to have somebody like him in the dressing room. Our problem when we went down last time was because there were not characters like him about the club.

In fairness I thought that the team got it forward a lot more in the first half which I was able to watch and looked more dangerous as a result. There is though still a sense that the defence do not know how 'to park the bus' if we ever need to.

Quite frankly it is bonkers that they paid £18m for a player and then decided to just write him off after 12 games. Sometimes I think that it would be better to just say to our manager this is what you've got prove yourself.

There must have been something they saw in Tall Paul when they paid a lot of money for him in January 2023. He really did not get a chance to show what he can do before he was farmed out. If I was RM I would put my arm round him if he can reach and have another look at him. With his height he must bring something to the party.

I would honestly despair for our society of we start locking up morons for what they say on social media. It is I am afraid a very slippery slope.
