  1. If the team keep winning, the club aren't going to have to worry about season ticket sales.
  2. No-one is saying it was hush hush. And very local residents will have been informed through the post, details normally go up on lampposts as well.
  3. According to Pop*****, the RATM song is on the same label as the X Factor song, so they win either way. Rumour is that Simon Cowell has bought the publishing rights.
  4. Don't expect Tranmere are bringing very many. Will probably end up near 20k, which against teams with a decent away following would have been 21-22k.
  5. But they weren't trying to keep it under wraps. They'd already scheduled a press conference for the following day to give the details. It seems they are annoyed that, having gone to the effort of setting up a press conference, the Echo decided they couldn't wait 24 hours. After all, the Echo would be the main people any press conference was being held for.
  6. Decent result on Saturday will push Norwich up to about 17.5k I think.
  7. Didn't they try to buy Man U a few years ago?
  8. Bugger. I'd be tempted to go with Thomas at right back, as James has been doing well in midfield.
  9. The section of the charter is about Saints' ticketing policies. Therefore they are only going to offer half price tickets if a home game is called off. Away grounds don't come into it.
  10. We still do play at a premiership quality ground.
  11. It's interesting what people count as southern actually. Looking at a map, Swindon is further north than a number of the london clubs, as well as Southend, Gillingham, and Cardiff.
  12. Torquay?
  13. I'd agree with what you are saying if the planning application was for a change of use, or an increase in usage. However it isn't. The use of the site will be exactly the same, the amount of traffic will be the same, all that is changing is a building. Which is why their objection has no validity. You can't complain about something which already happens/exists. That's not the way the process works.
  14. Yeah we've just been a bit more subtle, and haven't tried to grab the headlines.
  15. Think he's talking about the bit with a pic of a football pitch.
  16. No-one has ever been able to work out who they are, so not really surprised that they are bailing out. It was all a fantasy.
  17. It's a publicly available website, nothing to do with saintsweb. As others have stated, councils always put up the names and addresses of objectors (and also people who agree with the proposals).
  18. Exactly. Trousers, you've wasted your time. Go and do it again in a city where there are more British people.
  19. Seems odd that they've held a press conference but it's not even been made a news item on the OS.
  20. Didn't he used to spend hours after training practicing penalties and free kicks?
  21. I haven't got mine yet. I do have a very nice Artois glass at home though.
  22. Not sure how workable that is, as probably about a fifth of our games are scheduled for Tuesday nights from the word go.
  23. When is the last time that Saints had a match called off which was already in progress? Not sure if I can remember one in the 20-odd years I've been supporting them.
  24. Think they are probably including caretakers in that, but still, the next match will see the eight person take charge since the owners arrived in September 07.
  25. December 26th is Boxing Day, doesn't matter what the law/wikipedia says. If you asked 100 people when boxing day is this year, 99 would say 26th December.
