Not really top class are they tbh. There's elite players, there's very good players like the ones we've sold, then there's "yeah they could do a job I guess" players like the ones we've bought. I'd expect us to sign one more player, probably a right back, whilst selling Cork and Boruc. If we didn't sell any more players I'd like to see Ings, a winger and a cb then we're really looking good to go. If the emphasis is on having a better squad this season rather then better first 11 then we realistically need a few more to be able to say that.

I'm gonna hope straight in there and start to push some blame Koemans way. The guy's already essentially swapped Chambers for Shane Long ffs. It's fair enough selling players for huge fees if it ensures the long term stability of the club but we're selling promising youngsters and spunking millions on dross in their mid to late 20's who are going to have f#ck all resale value, what happened to signing young players and developing them?

We'll lose through us being poor rather than them being anything special. That's not the most intimidating line up in the world.

Because it's patronising, people aren't bloody stupid. Literally every player interview I've seen they've clearly briefed the players to use the word "ambition" as much as possible. We're depressingly sh#te atm yet all we hear is our manager and club saying how good we are and that this sh#te squad is somehow showing our ambition.

Isgrove is no threat whatsoever, we're in serious trouble if we start having to pick players like him. He just runs round a lot enthusiastically but has zero ability.

Koeman deserves shooting if he picks Isgrove over Ramirez. He's garbage and Gaston is quality.

Our two loan signings are looking like the best business so far. Bertrand was solid, Taider looked class. Tadic was mediocre though and Pelle is utter sh#te. We are in serious trouble unless we get a decent striker, there's no goals in our current team

He'd be a good signing but 10mill is too much. It's the one transfer we can afford to take our time on. By all means throw money at the Rojo deal or at a striker but we might as well play hard ball over a keeper.

Yep, I'd be more then happy to see his career waste away in the reserves for a few years. It'd be the most enjoyable thing to come out of this summer and would send a message to anyone planning on doing it in the future, they should've done the same to Lovren and didn't and it cost them.

There's no excuse whatsoever for any team that has £70+mill to spend to finish bottom half, let alone one that already has Boruc, Wanyama, Schneidlerin, Ramirez, Rodriguez and Clyne. We should easily be able to finish 8th again if we spend the money well, unfortunately we probably won't and will finish about 14th or something.

Guan's ITK status is taking a bit of a battering lately tbh. So we had a deal sorted yesterday but were just waiting until today to announce it?
