He's not good enough for clubs like Real Madrid, so it's all very nice saying he'd like to play for them but wtf is he gonna do it? Move to Spurs then watch us play in the Champions League? He's a very good player but he's not elite by any stretch of the imagination, he's not even been one of our best players this year. Tadic, Wanyama, Fonte, Clyne, Alderweireld and Davis have all been better.

Forster's on a par with Boruc, he's not awful but he's certainly no better. Just a mid table keeper. I think I'd put Cork on for Mane and push Wanyama forwards a bit, don't know why, would just like to see him smashing through people a bit higher up the pitch.

Yep, the recruiting isn't what makes us good anyway imo. None of our players are world beaters, if Fonte and Bertrand etc were elsewhere they'd probably be a bit pants, were just exceptional at getting the best out of players and getting them playing perfectly as a unit. Teams win games not individuals

Considering Pelle, Alderweireld and Tadic were Koeman signings, what gems has he discovered anyway? Forren and Mayuka?

Wanyama would be second for me, Clyne edges it imo because he's had a fair bit more game time. Tadic and Pelle are too hot and cold for me atm, I prefer a consistent 8/10 player to someone who's 10/10 one week then 6/10 the next. Tadic has probably been the most influential player but it's not Clyne's fault RB's aren't generally as influential, he's been absolutely flawless.

Our season can be pretty much summed up by saying "this is getting silly now". Literally keep thinking it after every game. Half the team looked shattered today, we played against a team who defined parking the bus and still breezed it.

Tight game, I'd get Long on for Mane at HT, he's been useless after the first 15 or so. Maybe Cork on for Wanyama since he might have it in for Poch. Schneiderlin's been awful but you can't really take him off.
