  1. Mixed on Moyes. Of course there'll be those who say he would be a sign of a lack of ambition. Never mind that he left a small club a few years ago to manage the biggest club in your country. That strikes me as ambitious.
  2. Koeman was confirmed as gone 24 hours ago. Light up a cigarette and calm the faaark down.
  3. Could be worse. Is it too early to put forward Palace for relegation. Not that I dislike them because I really don't. But the past two FA Cup runners-up both went down (Hull, Villa) so I am going for the hat-trick. And also their last 10 or so fixtures are pretty tough. Spurs, Watford, Chelsea, Saints, Arsenal, Leicester, Liverpool, Burnley, Man City, Hull, Man United.
  4. I would have been very happy with Moyes two years ago. But less so now, partly because of the Everton link. Not suggesting he couldn't do a decent job.
  5. I'm sure he'll land on his feet either way. But yes hopefully the club suffers.
  6. This is tosh of the highest order.
  7. Hurdle cleared.
  8. This times about 1000%.
  9. I hope we have pre-banned all the mong Toffees cretins who'll be looking to share their enthusiasm on here.

    Euro 2016

    What a ****.
  12. Judging purely by some of his goal celebreations though he seems to really like being part of the club. The haka, the Watson hugs, the SKD acknowledgedment... So I'd guess he's not on the outer as such.
  13. And also, why would their be ANY negotiating over a poaching clause. We have nothing to gain in that. The answer is going to be no. Or at least, not without a hell of a lot of cash that they can't afford to spend.
  14. Well not the one at Goodison. You need the crowd involved for edge.
  15. Speak for yourself.
  16. Well... even then they've only won four of 8. So no guarantees.
  17. I'm sure if he left the Foxes for West Ham it would only be because he's sold on their vision for the future, and their high ambition. Nothing to do with money. And as much as leaving for the Emirates would also be about money, that would at least actually mean more chance of winning more things.
  18. Even so, he's only one year into a five year contract. And he cost us £8 million as a player unproven in the PL. Worth at least £12 million now for any club other than Everton. For them.... £18 million will do and and not a penny less.
  19. Maybe FdB has had something lined up all along? Probably not though.
  20. No all the progress has been despite Reed obviously. Amazing we got this far.
  21. I will guarantee you he was not putting himself in the window for Everton two months ago.
  22. No no. He's a **** for that, but he's still a very good manager. He can be both.
  23. So you're saying Koeman isn't a good manager? Righto.
  24. But it's all about ambition! And winning things! Assuming he signs a five year deal with them, let's take a stab at how many things they might win in that time. I'll start with.... nothing.
  25. I would have thought it's going to be the best job going in England right now surely?
