  1. Well they defended ok. We didn't. Simple.
  2. Awful from VVD. Woeful.
  3. We just might need to defend some set pieces maybe?
  4. Totally Pelle's fault that. I'm sure.
  5. They'll be swimming soon from the looks of it.
  6. Better than midweek certainly.
  7. This place is hilarious. City currently level at 0-0 with Villa at home. Wonder if their forum is as funny as this one.
  8. Well at a minimum I want a top half finish, but yes the closer to Europe the better. And all things being equal, we should be beating Sunderland at home. Anything that pushes them closer to the Championship is fine by me.
  9. I wish, as much as anyone, that GR had worked out. But if this is a serious suggestion you need your head read.
  10. That's the spirit!
  11. Because Fonte and Van Dijk can't keep themselves from giving away dumb fouls?
  12. Did Steve Davis touch the ball tonight? Anonymous.
  13. Now was that Yoshida's fault? Or was it from a Pelle flick? I can't remember.
  14. A Pelle flick on costs us again huh?
  15. Been crap but I blame Yoshida for the goal, being he was on the park and all.
  16. Right. And as soon as a Pelle flick goes astray you'll be demanding he never plays again.
  17. Getting the strongest sense of deja vu reading this thread.
  18. So much of the usual crap on here after a loss. Pelle this, Pelle that. But whatever we all need a scapegoat. Not sure I have seen anyone question why Fraser Forster did nothing but stare at that Fabregas ball until it was almost behind him though.
  19. A European Football Legend? That's a wee bit rich surely.
  20. It was for handball yes. There was no contact between Sterling and the Spurs player. They were seven or eight feet apart. And it definitely wasn't for anything else happening in the box.
  21. Unnatural positions of the arms or not, the ball hit Sterling in the back. And there is no rule about deliberate backball.
  22. Touche. And fixed.
  23. True enough, but the same could have been said for Pelle last year, and Mane this year. If only it were so...
  24. Possession means two fifths of **** all if you don't do anything with it. And stats can say whatever you want them to say. Second lowest passes per game to me means they don't waste time recycling through the back four, preferring to keep attacking opposition defenses until they work their way through. I would much rather watch that then watch (as an example) Michael Carrick and Chris Smalling play kick to kick cause they have nothing else to offer. The only stat that should matter is they have conspired to lose just three games out of 26 so far. An incredible achievement. We have scored a total of 34 goals this season. Between them Vardy and Mahrez have scored 33. If one of them gets injured the wheels may fall off. But they've got this far I wouldn't put it past them to keep going. I haven't seen that much hoof to Vardy. He's got that much pace he seems to have no problem running through lines with the ball. And with Mahrez up there as well they have plenty of firepower. They are nailed on for top four now at least, and again, they thoroughly deserve it.
