What I was implying, apparently a little too obtusely for you, was that the oft-repeated lament round these parts that we aren't currently above a West Brom or a Stoke is getting a little thin. Of course I want to be above them. **** me drunk I want to win things. But you don't get it just cause you want it. We aren't entitled to be above them for any reason. You finish we're you deserve. If we want to be better than those clubs we have to prove we're better than them. Again and again and again. Until we do, we aren't. You can keep your lecture about the type of fan I am. Man and boy, 25 years, from the other side of the world. I don't have to justify to you what this club means to me.

Our ambition - now as ever - is to be a sustainable club. Preferably in the Premier League.
