In full agreement here. He was an excellent buy for us, and has been a solid pro the whole way. But he's been at direct fault for a few goals this season that have hurt us greatly. At 33 he's now taking up spaces that should be filled by Lemina/Hoj/Sims etc. Maybe that's why we're linked again to Armstrong from Celtic. He'd be a natural replacement, although not one we absolutely need to have right now. Davis has a contract til the end of the 2019 season though

It was his lack of changes though that was the problem. Taking Davis off was fine - he cost us the first goal. But how do we keep two subs until the 90th minute? That's crazy. The useless bastard has to go.

The problem is we can't score more than one a game if we are lucky, and we are very capable of shipping a few every week. So I wouldn't be too confident in our current situation.

I don't think we'll have to worry much longer:

Puel should not have been sacked really. The club made what I think will be proven to be decent signings in Hoedt and Lemina, and should have found a way to bring in one decent attacking player as well. Our squad is not great by any means, but there is enough quality in it that we should be doing better. That's down to the useless manager.

Puel out. Oh wait I mean Eric Black out. Oh wait.

Another woeful second half at home when all we beeded to do was score again when we are on top. We're heading down now and it's too late to stop it.

Hand to heart, never once considered CB a loser in any of the many arguments he brings out of people.

As a regular contributor to this forum, I would say CB Fry is one of the more sane people on it. But we all see things differently.

You are not, in all seriousness, suggesting our football club is essentially similar in size to those in Rome and Milan.

Just about the biggest pile of crap ever posted on this or any other forum. You'll be blaming Puel for our results for the next 20 years probably. Puel's biggest failure was the awful Europa League exit. That was abysmal. But he did more with this squad (in fact less than this squad) than Pellegrino ever looks likely too.

20 minutes or so of something approching decent football, interspersed with more than an hour of total garbage. Dross.

If we could find a way to play Austin, Gabbi, Boufal/Tadic together that could be something, but no system we seem to use will see that happen.

I'm neither in the MP in our out camp, but you can't claim the team he put out there isn't entirely capable of competing. They just gave up after five minutes.

This is hilarious just for all you melts that clammered for Puel out, and for all the abuse he copped at the ground. Especially on the final day. I'll be furious later, but for now I am just amused. We are garbage.
