  1. think if I was Bertrand i'd be pis*ed playing with a sh*t player in Redmond. might explain his demeanour
  2. boufal bit of outrageous skill there. shame nothing could come of it
  3. bit in bold shocks me. wow
  4. sounds like such a fake advertisement for it

    Redmond

he went from a bit part player with a relegated Norwich to what you could argue basically a starter with us.
  6. i want to say good in the sense that it might keep McCarthy busier now so we get a better opportunity to test him and see if he really is better than Forster, but also want us to win because we need to get promoted in the U23 second division tbh
  7. hmm so you suggesting that maybe as fans we need to lower our expectations? we're rubbish in the sense that we are not a comfortable top 8 club though right?
  8. Simply put, who do we attribute the blame for our goalscoring woes this season and the last? Is Pellegrino to blame for our problems? Did he tell the players to sit back after the first goal? Equally, was it Puel's fault last season too- have both managers suggested we play sideways football with no penetration- and as such lead us to the problem of not being able to score in game? OR Is it the players who seem incapable of playing to the high standards shown in 2015-16? Are the players just not good enough? Redmond has been terrible, Tadic shows more theatrics than he does football recently, Boufal inconsistent (certainly not had the impact Mane had with us), Bertrand and VVD appear to both be on the beach, Forster who seems to have forgotten how to stop goals- so is it the case that both Puel and Pellegrino have both been dealt bad hands that have made their stints with us worse than what they have previously achieved? So basically, are the players just terrible whereby even with Guardiola in charge we would be in our current state of affairs, or have they been coached into crap the past two seasons? ___________________________________________________________________________________________ P.S. Plot Twist: It's all Les Reed's fault for his handling in recruitment of both players and manager alike
  9. ' a draw was a fair result', oh pls james go do one... at least show you're miffed with the result how Maya was when we fu#ked up against Newcastle at home.
  10. didn't VVD score a header against Spurs back in Dec 2016, and also Long scored a header vs Villa in April 2016? Anyhow, dunno why this comes across as a shock- we are a short team and lost all aerial presence after our 2015-16 season (Fonte, Wanyama, Pelle, Long (when he could jump))
  11. Hradecky
  12. Makes no difference tbf
  13. I just don't see us getting to even 20 points by Boxing Day... So worrying
  14. Yessssss boys lets get 3 or 4 here plsss
  15. nah we can cope fine I'm sure- thing is Hojberg was the player I'd hoped to have been like Lemina, but certainly last season in the early stages he showed glimpses of it, wonder what he plays like now..
  16. They might win it the week before mate- we wouldnt see the prem trophy at SMS if thats the case. Seems likelier at this stage that they will win it a week before and our game with them will be a simple dead rubber but we do the whole guard of honour thing
  17. no way near as good as previous PR stuff, such as the April Fools Day things or the Barry Gale Stuff, but meh, can add this to stuff the club doesn't end. Like who can remember 'The March', only had like 2 episodes and then that died. also funny how they blurred the whole blackbox screen out, after last time they fuc*ed up and all the players speed times could be seen lol.
  18. nah I can understand it, really frustrating- wonder if anyone on here knows of a similar service for a better price and without the VPN bollo*ks

    Claude Puel

people will say 8th and a cup final but our 8th place was the jammiest finish ever! dunno if anyone can remember our final game vs Stoke but we were 10th at half time and didn't look we had the motivation to even get to eighth, and then Crouch scored and somehow other results went our way so we stayed where we were I would have given Puel another season, but that game suggested he'd lost the dressing room and in this day and age once with player power and that once that happens theres only one option.

    Claude Puel

Tbf to the guy Redmond came to our club before Puel was appointed. I still solely believe that Les Reed is the cause of Redmond playing so much- think about it- if Redmond can score like 10-15 goals his price will rocket given that he is English.

    Away tickets

yeah weve gone against it too in the end- think if seats were slghtly better than would have gone for it but oh well- my mate and I have also refused to buy a membership after the farce of last season and we did Anfield for the EFL Semi anyway so not too much of a loss.

    Away tickets

believe there is nothing. think if anyone will go then it will be by car surely?

    Away tickets

guys anyone able to recommend whether or not to get severely restricted tickets for the Anfield game? I mean is it really worth a trek from Kent to Liverpool to not see much of the game Plus the ticket is only £3 cheaper
  24. game in bold: what a pass that was from Ramirez that day!
  25. nta786

    Away tickets

I know but with the money in football and all that say 500 seats don't sell out then it would only cost say £15k for the club- let's just try and get as many as possible up there and if some remains, so be it- its not like it would cost us millions!
