It was good to see Marians Pahars interviewed before the game.What a player he was for us,costing I believe only £300k.I still have my “Super Marian” T shirt which sadly is only fit to wear in the garden now.

Some good goals and pleasing that Saints came back from2.0 down.However some of the passing and giving the ball away were dreadful.

I thought Sky charges to consumers would drop when more competition came into the market but Amazon Prime and TNT Sports do not seem to have made any difference. It looks therefore that any reduction in Skys Payments to P L will not reduce anytime soon.Until they do PL players will still get those massive wages.

I remember going to FP and saw that midfield play v Aston Villa.It was Norman Uprichards first game I goal for the skates and Jackie Henderson played CF.The crowd was on his back all the game.

VDL seems to attract them. Sat on the next table to Kevin Davies at Marias couple of years ago and seen Steve Bruce on the beach. Koeman and Van Gaal both have Villas there. Sadly Monty's has closed and reopened as some other name for this season with a different cuisine .
