  1. Oh ffs. God help us if this is really us on "not a bad run" 3 wins in last 15, failed to score in 11 of those 15 = not a bad run. #textbook
  2. Be great if she can communicate transfer targets and club plans like Jack S.
  3. Incredible how quiet this place is after a defeat. We'd be on 12 pages by now if we'd won
  4. Good effort lads. But its 500+ days since we last turned over a top 6 side in the league and the goal draught at home continues. Failed to score in 9 out of last 10 home league games? Shocking Lemina looks a player.

    Koeman

These boys get stuck on stage 4 every time somebody dumps us. We had the same posters posting the same posts last November when Everton had a poor run. 121 pages, 6,000+ posts and 1 million views on a "defectors watch" thread tells you all you need to know about these boys abilities and powers to "move on"
  6. Still very early days but table is taking shape. Our next 6 games includes Stoke, WBA, Brighton, Newcastle and Burnley. If we can get 12 points from the next 6 games we will be well on course for 7th.
  7. Freed from desire, mind and senses purified Want more and more (wins) People just want more and more (wins)
  8. May 2016 (May 1st Man City and May 8th Spurs) last time we beat one of top 6 in the premier league. United game will be 503 days since our last top 6 league scalp. Time is now..... 1-0 Saints, Austin 90th minute
  9. Agreed. If we can pick up a few wins while MP works on our attacking threat then big bonus. In Ravello (Italy, Amalfi coast) for the week so couldn't watch the game. Will enjoy a few beers in the square and sun now to celebrate. Wins breed confidence. 8 points from our first 5 (winnable games) was my minimum expectation. COYS :badger:

    Sammy Lee

Not sure there is evidence of any obsessions anywhere? Possibly more to do with Sammy being reminiscent of fast, exciting and attacking football. While Blacks arrival seemed to coincide with the drab guff weve witnessed and been subjected to since last summer? If we had got the appointments right last summer and the "southampton way" hadn't become so lifeless nobody would be reminiscing about Sammy?
  11. He finished 7th without those 3 last season
  12. You've learnt from the best.....
  13. Oh cool we're mocking the last 49 games. What a relief.... Lol at him getting loads more points than us Lol at him only scoring 25 more goal than us Lol at him n Everton being in Europe PMSL at him finishing 7th again Still in the EFL cup? What a mug No chance he'll finish above us again..... Weasel Koeman BTW I'm bang up for jesting Koeman who helped us finish 6th n 7th.... One for the Palace game.... sing it loud "Its not nice to be Everton its not nice to be poor You got Koeman We got Pellegrino, Pellegrino, Pellegrino"
  14. Just so I'm clear... we can't judge or comment on the Saints manager after just a few games....dinlows, saps and knee and jerk right?
  15. I found it mate...
  16. Credit where credit is due. Les Reed was clearly instrumental in the the signing of Lambert, Fonte and Hammond. So great was Leslie in all this that he helped us despite not being an employee at the time and was still assistant manager on a voluntary basis at Bishop's Stortford FC in the Conference South when all 3 had joined. Lambert joined 8 month BL (BL = before Les) Fonte joined 3.5 months BL Hammond joined 8 months BL Lets give Leslie credit anyway.
  17. But we've spent more than we've received? didn't you see the latest financials?
  18. How did Cortese force Reed to sell players? Myth list growing #myths
  19. Adkins was manager for 22 games in the premier league. He / we did lose 8 of the first 10 games but he then turned it around and in the last 12 games we lost just 2 (drew 6 and won 4) I guess the decision was probably already made and in hindsight Mopo is/was a better manager than Nigel so was absolutely the correct decision. Kudos Cortese Are Puel and/or MP better than Nigel - very debatable.
  20. Its the "southampton way" https://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?58754-quot-The-Southampton-Way-quot#.Wbhk7nPTXqA
  21. Thought you were Puels biggest fan boy? Turned against him now too?
  22. Another myth. Keep em coming
  23. Possibly a cheeky hint after Cork was sold 10 days after Nic left Shaw, Lallana, Lambert, Lovren and Chambers sold 3 months later.
  24. I got one on tennis, one on the Suez Canal. Loads
  25. These are the tough questions Jim White needed to ask...
