Got a decent stream on hesgoal albeit in a different language.

Don't see why wenger isn't in for VVD he hasn't got much time left in the digout why not go on a spending spree to win something before he retires? Signed one player for money and the back + middle of the spine of the team is still so weak compared to the other top 6. Baffles me.

Derby or Villa would be a good step up from a relegation battling Rovers last season. Would need to play most games though otherwise what would be the point? Anywhere but Birmingham City.
-
Our Academy produced Clyne? First I've heard of it

Utter ******** in bold.

I have come to the conclusion they are while Pompey aren't in the same league as us. The real rivalry happens when you actually play against each other. I now hate everything about them, the hypocrisy the self entitlement and the delusion is just to much for me not to. Maybe that's why we didn't concede a goal to them in 360 minutes of football and knocked them out the cup last season as often the underdogs in a rival game come out on top.

I say let him rot he will soon get bored, his value isn't going to depreciate in one year with 4 years still left on his contract.
-
Its a friendly ie not competitive with a ridiculous amount of changes so teams like Liverpool can comfortably beat Bayern Munich and Barcelona. I personally can't even be bothered to watch them, wait till the real stuff starts then have a moan if that's crap

With City spending 100m on two fullbacks (one fairly average some games and one unproven in England) I think 70m is quite good value for VVD in this market.
-
Oops it appears I'm mistaken and the goal from a corner was from Dodd v Pompey as can't find one v Wimbledon anywhere

Around the time I started following and supporting saints. Perhaps the 1st season I properly got into to football after world cup 98. Remember that Wimbledon game fondly and the other one couple years later where Le Tiss scored again directly from a corner and they went down. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sport/football/fa_carling_premiership/338596.stm

1st Southampton/Spurs 2nd Spurs/Southampton It's going to happen We're both going to sign as little as 2-3 young players each, rely on youth products for squad back up and rotation Break the mould and both challenge for the title.
-
The way the market is going it's probable he could fetch even more money or at least the same next year.
-
I reckon we are worth closer to £400m than £200m Players value alone will be above £200m in this market.
-
What we should say to him is, sorry 5 years left you aren't going this year. Stay with us this summer and we will promise to let you go in a year or even in January we aren't pulling up any trees (near top 4/ in EFL semi final) if your asking price is met. Sulk or strike if you want (but it's world cup year and it's your career :smug:)

Both at home to teams outside top 6. Gabbi on his own in all the other games with Austin coming off bench 2nd half if needed.
-
Sign the new VVD the new Wanyma and the new Steven Davis and I think that would be job done.
-
We're surely gonna get a couple in within next week or 2 then 1 or 2 more late on in the window as always.
-
It's a one off payment written in a players contract that the player gets if he is sold or released before his contract ends and he hasn't put in a transfer request. I'm not sure but they might also get it when they sign a new contract I'd imagine VVD's is upwards of £1m/1.5m
-
Haha you crack me up but am I laughing with you or at you? Who said we'd loan him? I certainly didn't.
-
Southampton are now into 7/4 from 25/1 to sign Patrick Roberts from Manchester City. https://twitter.com/Oddschanger/status/887997155411099648 Another player who just had a very good season at Celtic.
-
Hopefully if he is right the defender is a right back to compete with and cover Cedric though.
-
If we sign another centre back it would indicate VVD is as good as gone! Maybe Liverpool have bid £70m?
-
If the takeover happens with promise of huge investment I'd like to think he would agree to stay for a 2nd year of his 6 year contract Still 90% goes 10% stays atm
