  1. We really need to be more ruthless in front of goal. Massive 3 points. Romeu- best player on the pitch again.
  2. She does not wait for Cherif to translate. She looks him in the eyes and answers animatedly. Not Aly Dia as well!
  3. Not at all, why would you think I'm implying clubs with smallish stadiums that sell out be considered a "truly big club"? Clubs with huge stadiums that sell out game by game are considered big, then the truly big clubs are the ones that have won many trophies in the last 30-40 years as well therefore bringing in generation upon generation of fans from all over the world which in turn makes them able to sell out their huge stadiums week in week out. Investment helps this, but still Man City IMO are not in the elite of United, Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Madrid yet. Then Liverpool have a far far greater world wide fan base than Man City, and so do Chelsea most likely. Man City aren't there yet IMO but 10-20 years down the line they might well be. By still ruled by the big 4 you mean since Man City got there 6-7 years ago? Because before that the big 4 was United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool!
  4. If he can help us get top 8, win a cup and progress in Europe which I think he would then why not get him on loan? Who cares about his celebration if he puts the ball in the net for us no one will. Probably a completely fabricated rumour though. What we really need though is a Lukaku type striker who can do it all, Rondon for West Brom is the type of striker we need to get in if we're being picky
  5. Are Man City a truly big club? They can't even sell out their stadium week in week out. I'd say Barca, Real, Man United, Arsenal, Bayern Munich and unfortunately Liverpool are the truly big clubs, although the bin dippers haven't won the League for about 25 years they've competed for it, won the Champions League and easily sell out their massive stadium every game. When talking about spending power you can add Chelsea, Man City and PSG to the list, although they wouldn't be where they are without ridiculous billionaire investment.
  6. Each team can field a goalkeeper over the age limit and up to three ‘over-age’ outfield players in every match So I guess Terry, Fabregas and Van Ginkel + GK were the old farts, that rules they can easily put out 5/6 potential first team players with Zouma and Batshuayi being classed as under 23 That game should have done our youngster's a load of good!
  7. More like a jar of **** than a jar of Marmite, time to put him on ignore.
  8. A top striker so Austin only needs to start against the teams that sit back would be good. Great point but only one team were ever gonna win that game, Redmond was awful last 30 mins other than that most played very well.
  9. How has he not signed a new contract yet. Give him a 5 year one I say.
  10. If fit...... ----------Forster----- Cedric-Fonte-VVD-Bertrand -----------Romeu----------- --------Davis---PEH -Redmond----------Tadic ------------Austin----------- Subs. GK, Yoshida, Mcqueen, Clasie, JWP, Boufal, Jay Rod/Long
  11. You could argue though, from the games I've watched all 3 (or at least 2 of) have had at least 4 good chances each this season to score and only one goal to show for it. Plus we're 10th after losing to Hull, just a few extra goals off top 6. Clearly are good enough for this level.
  12. Players form goes up and down that's just a fact that you somehow can't figure out, or had it just been a really slow Sunday morning for Mr Heisenberg? Fraser Forster's form and the lack of goals which only seem to come when Charlie Austin is on the pitch are my only concerns. Also Romeu and VVD getting injured might be an issue but all teams have players that they would be concerned about getting injured. Other than that it's all gravy.
  13. Agreed, he should of started really or at least got a full half. Perfect team to play him against for his match fitness, opportunity missed.
  14. Would need to sign a right back as well then.
  15. Looks tight at the top too! Should be an exciting season. Hopefully we can avoid relegation.
  16. He needs a goal, was good for the first 15 mins but missed a few chances then was poor (so could be confidence as well as match fitness). Real shame that he didn't get to take that pen on Thursday, Tadic should never take a pen for us again even the ones he's scored have been poor penalties. He's got 2/4 I think and all 4 were terrible.
  17. I'd be tempted to play Mcqueen or Bertrand at right back, probably Bertrand or even JWP at RB. Martina's limitations have really shown these last few weeks and he could probably do with a rest.
  18. None of them were on the list and OP didn't say what age they had to be!
  19. I think he's good but if we got good money for him and got Morgan back we'd have a much stronger, more balanced squad. Morgan, Romeu and possibly Hojberg could both play DM and we'd have Hojbjerg, Davis, Ward-Prowse, Morgan and Reed for the shuttle positions
  20. a 28 yr old Rickie Lambert
  21. West Brom and Everton u23s lost so you only got 3/5 i'm afraid....
  22. Don't think we would of won in 90 minutes without Fonte so he got my vote.
  23. Me and my brother were planning to go tonight but doubt we will now seeing only chapel seats are available, why the hell have they not opened up the kings-land corner!? Ridiculous.
  24. He joined Leicester it seems!
