If he was 3/4 years younger it would of made more sense, but that price for a player who will no doubt be on the decline after another 2 years at the top with little to no re sale value does seem very odd for a normally shrewd Juventus in the transfer market over the last 4/5 years to pay that much for a 29 year old.

I hope we mainly play 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 at the start of the season and are just trying this formation out as an alternative......As they say if it ain't broke don't fix it..Our form was only second to Leicester's in the second half of last season playing those formations...

Probably because Morgan didn't get a minute on the pitch and Martial didn't get many minutes whereas Cedric and Fonte played 4 games on the trot some going 120 minutes! They'll probably be back after Holland.

Got mine yesterday and have an impeccable record of seeing no losses with only the 1 draw at home in the last 2 seasons in the league....... Notable ones I was at were 3-0 v Everton 6-1 v Villa, 4-0 v Arsenal and 4-2 v Man City Managed to see the 1-1 v Midtjylland and 6-1 thrashing v Liverpool in the cups though. Lets hope I bring the home league form with me again although the only game I went to that we didn't win was 0-0 v West Brom in Koemans first home game. Hope that's not the case for Puel too.

I'd say 3 signings are needed if there are no outs in priority of 1. GK to challenge and cover Forster. 2. Mane replacement who has pace and can play anywhere in the front 3. (Berahino would be a good shout IMO) 3. Goal scoring Number 10 who can also play out wide if needed.

If we had tied Mane on a new contract within his first year I think most fans would be pretty bloody happy that we'd get to keep him for another year unless a silly silly offer came in!

LOL, the only one's I'd have over Yoshida are Wimmer and Zouma. They play for far bigger clubs so it's understandable they have better options. Mangala, Jones, Gabriel, and Rojo have been dodgy as, so was Lovren until the last 6 months and he was in the FIRST choice pairing with Sahko. Tomkins is now going to be first choice at Palace and Dier played midfield for the whole of last season!

I've got a feeling we (or someone else) will get Berahino on or near to the last day of the transfer window due to his price tag the West Brom owner wants is far too much for a player who will no doubt go for a small compo fee next july seeing as he's rejected a new contract.
