I like Poch, yet his press conferences were and are nearly as boring as Puels. That doesn't matter to me though as long as the football is good which at times this season it hasn't been, then again in certain games in Poch's time here it was just as bad, normally against the teams outside the top 6. Main difference for me this season is with Poch and Koeman you always felt we had a decent chance in games against the top 6, whereas this season you feel we might get a draw but that'll be it.

Thought we'd get Mamadou in, no brainer really if he wants to join. Loan with a view to permanent is my prediction though.

You reckon they ever stop looking for players? I don't, I just think they will only do it if they are 100% that the money they'll be spending will be a worthwhile investment.

Harry Kewell just said we played some wonderful football but we just need that striker up front to take to the chances. We need to find a gem of a striker big time and have done for a long while.

He should stay at Nice for now, he's only been there since the summer and could win a title. Won't get enough game time at a big club yet and won't get a title at a club our size. Plus Nice is well nice

What if Yoshida or Fonte got injured? Face it we would struggle big time if VVD goes in January by far our best player, we can't score goals but we don't concede many take that away and it's a relegation battle for sure.

Of the young players from our academy that could play premier league football or at least championship level for most of their careers we have quite a bunch at the moment. JWP, Reed, McQueen, Sims, Seager, Gallagher, Slattery, Hesketh and Targett.

I haven't forgot that but he's been really poor for at least the last 2 months and he's played most of those games.

Centre backs need the least rest out of the outfield players IMO. You notice that when you play football every week yourself to a reasonably high standard, when/if you get told to play centre back, it is the least strenuous position to play in stamina wise, so professionals under 32 should easily manage 2 games a week. Morgan managed to play every minute for Leicester last season, think VVD missed one game? Sure Ashley Williams did similar at Swansea and so on

Yes. As mentioned, we look light up front but that's because Jay Rod and Long have barely got a goal between them all season, Gallagher is on loan and Seager is injured. Sims has added a much needed extra wide man for when 1 of Tadic, Boufal or Redmond are out. Really good stuff this playing players from our academy lark.
