Sounds better than 3 top 8 finishes in a row and realistically it is what we should be trying to do every season now. Get into the top 8 a progress in the cups. Would be a good achievement after only 5 years back in the top league.

I think he's basically been quite good away from home, **** poor at home. Especially compared to the last 2/3 seasons.

Maguire and Stephens would be a great young pairing to back up and compete with Yoshida and either VVD or another experienced centre back.

He needed 6 months and a striker that can put the ball in the net, as 6 months went by the only player who could consistently do that had been injured for a couple of months and his best player was injured as well as his former captain and other first choice centre back being sold. Now we have 2 strikers who can put the ball in the net at least 1 out of every 2 chances he can really have no excuses. When VVD and Austin are back and if Caceres gets match fit we have some squad on our hands.
