Bill Shankly called it many years ago. If you can’t support us when we lose or draw, don’t support us when we win. We have had a bad week and haven’t been great this year so far, but most of 2020 was excellent. We were always likely to run out of gas and the injury list has taken its toll, but we know what this team and manager can do and things will pick up.

United showed us how to take apart 9 men. As others have said o am more angry at this result than the United performance. We gifted them 3 goals and looked less likely to score on the last 20 than we did when they had 11 on the pitch. Once again clueless how to break down a packed defence. The sodden pitch didn’t help our playing style but that is no excuse. We badly miss KWP and Stu. Really angry tonight.

My understanding was that he wanted to move on to play football not that he should replace those players. The B team don’t play that many games and he wants to progress. I don’t see a problem with that. Also who’s to say that we would have been hammered if he hadn’t got sent off. Should we blame Bednarek for the last 3 goals for his sending off?

Perhaps we have forgotten that Kat got rid of Cortese, sorted out the financial mess he left behind and was at the helm in some of our best seasons. I really don’t think that she would have sold to Gao if she had thought he would be bad for the club but people always need someone to blame. If she was so desolate to jump ship why keep an interest in the club?

I’m hoping his pride will mean he stays to show that he is better than that and can turn it round again. Liverpool conceded 7 and Klopp wasn’t expected to go. Freak results happen.

Whatever you think of Gao, he can’t be blamed for our lack of income due to the pandemic. Many clubs are stuggling financially. As for a top four finish, was never going to happen imho. Nor top 6. We had a purple patch but were never going to sustain it. We aren’t the kind of club that can attract or afford real quality in depth.

Not sure why the youngsters like Tella are being written off already? Many very experience players come to the PL and take some time to get up the required level. Why do we expect more from the kids?

I don’t think Trump supporters will need any help in being pushed back towards him, do you? Why would Biden supporters have a problem with Harris? The argument that somehow Hilary Clinton was a worse candidate than Trump is laughable. To most people he is the worst POTUS America has ever had and it is hard to see how she could have been any worse. Unless you are a Trump loving misogynist of course 😉
