Despite the fact that he wrote an article at the time slagging off middle class drug takers? Only a few weeks ago Dianne Abbot was slagged off for drinking alcohol on the London Underground. Now we have a bunch of people fighting to become Prime Minister who can’t wait to use their previous drug taking exploits as a campaigning tool. Seriously, wtf has this country come to?

That’s where our recruitment has gone wrong! We haven’t been targeting players on their level of attractiveness! Dear god, I knew what sort of comments to expect from that 70’s throwback Duckhunter, but can’t we do better than that guys? Women’s football is improving and there is clearly a growing market for it. As many girls play soccer as boys in the US. If more girls start getting into football as a result of the World Cup it can only be a good thing. Time to grow up guys.

But they aren’t trying to play football. They are playing football. You don’t have to watch it, you can spend your time brushing up on your homophobic jokes.

I am taking a punt here so bear with me. Back in the 60’s my dad worked and played cricket for The Times. Every year at Whitsun (late May bank holiday) they would do a small cricket tour taking in Tichborne CC and Follands CC. I think they used to stay at the Albany Hotel which may well have closed in the 80s? The Times had a lovely sports ground at Ravensbourne near Bromley in Kent and I think Tichborne may have played some return games there too. I have a vague recollection of Follands being the manufacturers of the Gnat jet? I think there was one at their sports ground? Just wondering if any one here knows anything about those old cricket matches? I still have a picture of my dad being applauded off the field after getting 98 not out. That would have been mid 60s.

The match was so poor that even the streaker wore clothing.

Good grace to accept defeat? So you don’t recall Farage saying that if the result had gone the other way he would have carried on fighting it? This is too important to drop, which is why those who believe we should stay in the EU are not backing down.
-
Are you getting your Union Jack knickers in a twist because you realise that Remain could well win another public vote? If you Brexiters are so sure of your position you should have nothing to fear, surely? Shame about Tommy by the way.

Not much of a front man for action then are you Benjii if you cant work out how to get a message through to a high profile character like this. How about trying to approach him through the club? You would think that they would have some way of getting in touch with him. As for the questions, sorry but they are a bit rubbish. If you think that something dodgy is going on this is hardly the way to go about exposing him is it? You seem to have an issue about lack of communication with the fans. We have already heard from Krueger that he is a private man and that the Board speak for him. Doesnt make him dodgy really does it? The fans on here wanted Black, Reed, Krueger and Hughes gone and they have all gone but you are still not happy. If he was dodgy wouldn't he not give a stuff about replacing under performing staff? Lander are supposed to be launching this summer. If they stump up the money does it really matter if they are not operating just yet? It seems like a good way to launch a new brand to me but if there is something rotten there hopefully you will find it. Think about your questions and get in touch with the club about how you can reach him. You might want to think about contacting an accountant too to get some idea about how you can ask things that might help to flush out his alleged dodgy dealings.Let me know how you get on and good luck with your quest.

Ok fine. Have you actually asked Gao any questions though? If so, what are they?
-
Any answers yet?
-
Pied Piper of Maidstone? What does that mean? You are a bit of a drama queen aren’t you. Gao passed the FA test for someone who is a fit and proper person to own a Premiership football club. Unless I have missed something there is no financial crisis, nor would there be if we had been relegated. You sit behind your keyboard demanding answers but don’t seem to be remotely prepared to do anything yourself other than to whinge on a football forum. If you are that bothered about it, why not do something more? You could start by actually thinking of some of the questions that you are demanding answers to. Oh, and my brother has just bought a Cockerpoo puppy called Benji. He wets his bed too!
-
For no reason? So the reason we were given in that we needed to sort out the financial mess that Cortese left us in was “no reason?”
-
There is not person on this forum who knows whether Gao or the new sponsorship will be good for the club or not, but there is a massive assumption based on nothing that they are bad. Let’s hope you miserable sods are all proved right and then you can have a mass “I told you so” love in. Enjoy!

I agree that delivering Brexit within this Parliament was always going to be a tough ask. But wouldn’t have made more sense to form a cross party committee together from the start to try and work out what would get through Parliament and then spend the next three years trying to get the EU to agreed something that would work for us. Instead May has spent (wasted) three years putting together a deal which her own Party won’t support and keeps putting in front of Parliament despite the fact that it keeps getting defeated. Her mantra that this is the only deal is nonsense. There is always another option. The EU are quite rightly frustrated because they are trying to negotiate with someone who doesn’t know what the people she needs to get on side actually want. May’s belligerence and single minded approach from the start has led us to where we are now, in a shambles. Cameron let Farage bully us into a decision to leave when we had no plan how to leave. May’s incompetence has led us to a position where we will probably end up leaving with no deal, with all of the economic uncertainties and issues that will bring with it.

Given the unholy mess May has made over the very protracted Brexit negotiations, the huge divides that she has made worse within her own party, the platform she has given to Farage for his umpteenth return to the political stage etc. etc. I am surprised that this thread has not appeared before now. Throw in the bunch of useless muppets who are lining up for her job and the party looks in a worse mess than the Labour Party. For me, May has been the most inept PM in my lifetime. Throw in the damage that austerity has done to this country and the previous mess that Cameron made of the referendum etc. and it is little wonder why the younger generation look at us and say wtf have you lot done. Whatever you think of Corbyn or the Labour Party, they are not responsible for where the UK is right now, yet this forum seems more concerned with the pretenders to the throne rather than those in power. In a few weeks time it is entirely possible that the likes of Johnson or Gove could be PM. This place seems to be populated with Tories. Do you think that your party is really in a better shape to lead and unit our country than any other party? Whichever way Brexit goes it appears that the divides in your party will not be healed.

This is what happens when you don’t have a manager to whinge about. Since Hughes, Reed and Krueger all left tensions have been building and the new kit has been a release valve. At least we don’t look like Liverpool! That was the only time I would have felt like frothing at the mouth over a kit. For all of the moaning on here and on Twitter, I bet plenty of people will buy it.

Looks fine to me. For those who think that the black stripe at the top looks like a bra, have you ever been with a woman? It’s red and white stripes and it unique to us. Job done.
-
Banter or batter? And if you can’t be childish on this thread Batman, where can you be?
-
Indeed! Although I have to say that I am mightily impressed that submariner cooks use nuclear fission and hydraulics in their kitchens! And we have also learned that Batman was a submariner but not a cook. Perhaps a dishwasher? Maybe that is where the nuclear fission comes in. They nuke the greasy plates?
-
I think that it is admirable that you are so supportive of the culinary trade carried out by submariners, although, as has been mentioned, I am not sure why cooking in a submarine is any different than cooking anywhere else. Although you obviously can’t just pop down to the corner shop for some eggs and bacon if you run out. If it isn’t you, I must have confused our Jamie Oliver of 20,000 fathoms with Delldays? But you do seem to have a lot of knowledge about their conditions for someone who has never done the job!
-
I don’t see it as a figure of fun Batman. I see you as a figure of fun. You seem to know a lot about the conditions they work under. Other people have said that you were a cook on submarines. Why do you think that is?
-
I am sure he can speak for himself but it’s not surprising to see you alt right supporters sticking together.
-
So you have never worked as a cook on a submarine?
-
Draw or drawer, you are still not the sharpest knife in it. I am not suggesting those who cook are thick. I am suggesting that you are not the brightest person on board your submarine.
