  1. It has been a lot worse. The whole point of supporting a team is being there in good times and bad. It is obviously harder to support a team when things aren’t going well, but that is when they need support the most. If you can’t do that perhaps you will be better off supporting Citeh.
  2. Given that apparently only one Saints player (Josh Sims) was represented by Midas between Jan 2016 and Dec 2017 they aren't doing to well with the incentives. You might want to find another target to wave your pitchfork at.
  3. Reedist cult? Really? And whatever happened to being innocent until proven guilty. Better get those pitchforks sharpened! I remember the days when Lowe was accused of embezzling money from the club. Still waiting for that to be proven.
  4. Not obsessed hypo, just amused at how even more hyper you have become on here of late. Shouldn't you be back at school yet?
  5. Damn, and there was me hoping he would give in to the pitchfork waving mob and get a forum of them together as a think tank. Dont tell hypo though, he has gone into overdrive since the Palace loss.

    Why???

The window has only just opened. How many players have changed clubs already yet the pitchfork brigade are already out in force. In fact they were out yesterday as a thread on the subject was started then.
  7. I agree about not wanting a bland site. Sadly though there are some abusive posters on here who go too far and are left alone by the mods. Some might find their posts amusing, but I wouldn't be surprised if they dont spoil it for the majority. I know plenty of people who no longer post on here because of the poor moderation and general abuse and I stopped paying my fiver for the same reason. It should be possible to have a disagreement without resorting to name calling or bullying.
  8. Not even half way through the second day of the transfer window and it has started already. Must be a record?
  9. Priceless. There were a lot more than two or three people slagging Mane off when he was here. I wonder if the same people would have him back now?
  10. Four young men were stabbed to death in London in separate incidents over the New Year but not to worry, these didn’t involve terrorists.
  11. Perhaps I have got this wrong, but isn’t there a big difference between being dropped and being rotated? It also seems to me that managers who win matches when rotating players are football genius’s whereas those who don’t apparently don’t know what they are doing.
  12. They are all going to be tough for the rest of the season. Good to see Palace put out a strong side though. Hopefully they will be knackered by the time they play us.
  13. Yep, silly me. Of course he and the club should be slagged off before he has shown either way whether his appointment is a success or not (despite the fact that he is actually only an assistant). I am just as much an amateur as the amateurs running this club and will go and stand in the corner - although it is getting rather crowded with Mr Gao, Nelly, Kat Liebherr, Ralph, Les and Mauricio already there. Thankfully I can take the spot vacated by Eric Black.
  14. We do actually know he is not the first team coach, but assistant first team coach, right?
  15. So if the master plan was to appoint Kelvin to placate the fans, that appears to have backfired big time.
  16. Tuchel apparently ruled himself out before and is waiting for a big club.
  17. Amazed that after the slagging the club got for selling our best players before that so many people are now saying van Dijk should have been sold in the summer.
  18. ** I'm thinking that it probably isn't appropriate to post pictures of other posters without their consent mods?** (see above) Back in the 90s I used to live with a lady whose father was a principle singer in the Black & White Minstrels. His name was Les Want, now sadly deceased. He always maintained that there was nothing racist about "blackface" and that that they blacked up in homage to the roots of Afro-American music (something none of the wave of greatest British blues musicians felt the need to do in the 60s and 70s but that is by the bye). When the Minstrels finished be continued to tour with another singer doing the same routine, including blacking up, as it was still popular. Gradually though as PC kicked in, they had to stop blacking up. They continue to tour with the songs though. Lenny Henry actually got his break through the Black & White Minstrel Show. Although he distances himself from it now, apparently he was very popular amongst the company and enjoyed himself in the show at the time. Why anyone feels the need to black themselves up in order to sing black music is beyond me, but it was of its time. If you are going to embrace another culture, perform the music, play the music, listen to the music but don't change the colour of your skin, the colour of which singled millions out for slavery, rape, murder, torture and second class citizenship. As for dressing up as Diane Abbot, would you do so if she was white and fit?
  19. Was he the first team coach or assistant coach? Either way not one person here knows if he was good at his job or not. There is just a massive assumption that he was useless and was the reason for our slump. Last season we were told by the people who have it in for him that he was not popular with the players. When Puel left he was retained, apparently because he was, you've guessed it, popular with the players. The reason he is leaving may well be genuine, it may also well be a cover story. No one here knows either way. If we continue in the current form the mob will have to find another scapegoat. If we suddenly improve the mob will say that they were right all along. As ever, the lack of any factual evidence will not stop people forming their own reality. Happy Christmas!
  20. All our worries are over apparently.
  21. Even BFS says that the Everton turn around started before he got involved. Koeman had a tough start. If he was still there I would have expected them to produce better results.
  22. Exactly. This is scapegoatism at its best. No one here has an idea what he does or how good or bad he is. It is just total supposition. Last season we were told on here constantly that he was the problem and that the players hated him and yet he was kept on apparently because he is well liked by the players! The mob needs a sacrificial lamb when things are going wrong and with any supporting evidence, Black is the latest.
  23. If so it will probably be the first time in history when a club has said it is in a relegation battle when they are 11th in the table.
  24. All football fans need a scapegoat. No one has a clue what Eric Black does but because he has been involved with failed teams before he is the prefect target. We heard on here how unpopular he was within the club yet when Puel left he was kept on. Why? Because he apparently is so popular with the players! I have no idea what he does but neither does anyone else. He is just an easy. lazy target.
  25. Well I remember people wanting Puel out, Our very own Batman even insisted that he would be gone by Christmas. I also remember people wanting Koeman out when we went through a blip. Football fans make a fuss about the lack of loyalty shown by players, but lose a few football matches and people demand your head if you are a manager. We are a mid table side in a mid table position. God knows how the bed wetters will manage if we ever slip into the bottom three.
