Or there’s the Saints Web way. Us - “How much do you want for him?” Them - “How much have you got?” Us - “£75m”. Them - “Done!”
-
We could pay more and still end up getting relegated.

To your average black bumpkin, do all white fellas look the same pal?
-
Dont think so pal. Although they are looking to take a Palace player on loan.

It wouldn't surprise me re the centre back. Just because it isnt all over the media is doesnt mean to say we aren't trying to find one. I am just surprised that Gardos hasn't been moved on already as he seems surplus to requirements. Yoshi and Stephens are ok as back up but neither is good enough to start regularly.

I come on here to get info about the club I have supported since 1966 but more and more it is just posts constant slagging off the club. If there was more level headed chat about the actual football then I might add some views. As it is many people just seem to want to use any stick they can to slag off the club they say they support. Still Duncan, you haven't liked my posts going back to the last century so I am surprised that you still bother to read them.

Hell hath no fury like a former employee scorned!

Britain First hate style propaganda? I know BS posts some sh*t there but I would say that it is as far removed from Britain First as you could get!

You need to keep up Shurlock, I moved from Maidstone over six years ago.
-
So nothing to do with him getting approx. £40k a week more at Everton then. Ok.

Is Pelle coming back? -
To be fair Alpine, if you want Saints to lose your aren't really much of a supporter are you? You have been posting on here for years, the vast majority of it of which is negative or slags off the club. I wonder why you bother if things have been so bad for all these years?

So if we carry on performing like we did on Sunday and MP manages to turn things around, will you guys continue to post pictures of ocean going liners sinking (with attendant loss of life, even if it wasnt supposed to be the Titanic) and transposing pictures of MP's face onto clowns? Will the massive non protests and multiple *****ing threads continue? Or will people get behind the club and try and help us back up the table?

Sack one failing manager and replace him with another?

Does a new manager improve the teams chances of survival?
sadoldgit replied to Pilchards's topic in The Saints
I think we have solved our problem. The answer is clear. If changing a manager improves your chances of winning we need to change our manger after every game. Sorted. -
Apparently we were never interested in Sturridge. Walcott clearly went for the money. Monaco have rejected our first bid for Carrillo which doesnt mean the deal is dead unless we dont raise our offer. Good old Batman.

I don't think protests work/I'm not interested in them.
sadoldgit replied to Guan 2.0's topic in The Saints
So which is it? Do you want a protest or not? -
You talk about common sense. Where is the common sense in knee jerk reactions and total assumptions based on no hard evidence? Of course you need to keep an eye on your "customer base" but it would be extremely foolhardy to base your decisions on feedback based on people who have no idea how to run a business let alone a multi million pound Premiership football club business. This Board and others like it goes into meltdown every time we lose a match, sell a player, buy what is perceived to be the wrong player etc. They might well monitor these boards, but as I said, if they base their decision making on that feedback they must be crazy. You cant run a business based on reactionary feedback. Just look at the number of people on here who say they would have Cortese back again. That tells you all you need to know.

Anyone running a business and being influenced by a bunch of Internet warriors really should not be running that business.

£20m with £5m add ons apparently. How many players ever say they moved for the wages? It’s all about ambition apparently! And he really wants to work with Fat Sam. Good luck Theo, no shots on target on the last couple of games and currently a worse away record than us.

Sorry you left UJ. I take your points and do agree that when it is good it is very good, but there are times, as with all forums, when it sucks. Sometimes I miss the ignore button (which has served me well on here over the years) but sometimes you just have to exercise a bit of self control and know when enough is enough. I dont like the racist stuff either but then most of the posters dont either, so if that rears its ugly head it tends to get shouted down. Fortunately the race and migrant stuff seems to have taken a back seat since our poor form with the Board and the players getting stick now instead. It generally has a nicer vibe over there and most posters dont take themselves so seriously. Being a small forum (I'm getting the hang of this sizest thing Ralph) when things do kick off there is generally a call to cool things off which works sometimes, and sometimes it doesnt, but generally there is a feeling that we just want to go somewhere to hang out and exchange views rather than point score. It is far from perfect, but then the perfect internet forum does not exist. If you prefer dryer sheets and less scarred wrists though, you could do a lot worse.
