Ronald Koeman insists even Barcelona could not lure him from Southampton
sadoldgit replied to goneawol's topic in The Saints
Good to see that some people have integrity in the Premiership. -
Okay so you are a genius and are cleverer than I am. When I said that it happens I was talking about multiple posters which we now know is a fact. When I said I didn't know if it was true or not about multiple posters attacking certain posters I am now beginning to wonder if you and Hypochondriac are both the same person.
-
I have had it suggested to me before that there are certain posters who all suddenly gang up on someone and they could be the same person. Whether there is any truth in that I don't know, but have certainly seen various posters suddenly jumped on by more than one other poster.
-
You have not read the stuff about St Charlie then?
-
I never claimed it happens. I was referring to the fact that others said it did and wondered if that was the case. Apparently it does. You two are very an@l aren't you?
-
Had a woodpecker on the birdfeeder the other day. He scared off all the tits though.

It has only happened once so far. Ok, we may lose more players this summer but it isn't going to happen every year to the same extent. Players leave and join clubs all the time. The reason some are leaving us is they are quality and can play at a higher level. I would much rather that happened that we stopped attracting or bringing through quality players. If the whole squad kept leaving I'd agree with you but it doesn't. Even with the leavers last season we still had the basis of a decent squad.
-
And why start a thread about multiple posters and putting out names when you are the biggest offender? Although maybe asking for amnesty was a give away!
-
I don't know but it has been suggested more than once by others that certain posters do it.

I haven't seen every game that Lovren has played this season, but of the ones I have he hasn't been very good at all.
-
Frickin awesome!
-
I have never once claimed that it happens. I have wondered if some people have duplicate log ins though. As for taking you on, it is the other way around isn't it?
-
He did sign a massive "tool" in Lovren to be fair. I know people are saying the media have a love in with him but I have read a lot of criticism about him in some newspapers.
-
Ah, Brenda, bless him. He is certainly not lacking in self belief. On the other hand Jose Mourinho he ain't. Sadly for him though he is setting himself up to fail big time.

19 but guessed a couple correctly.

Rodriguez has returned - BREAKING: NEW CONTRACT SIGNED

Many players are linked with many clubs all of the time. The bloke has not kicked a ball in anger for a year. Until he proves his fitness a club would be barking mad to buy him. -

I think this is a healthy attitude. There is no point in fretting about whether players will stay or go. Enjoy them when they are here and look forward to an equally good or better replacement when they go. -
That would explain a lot!

So the argument goes that we could all be concealing weapons therefore are fair game to be shot? If there were greater gun controls we wouldn't have weapons to conceal and therefore the police wouldn't have to shoot us. N'est par? I don't think "us" Brits think we know it all. What we do have is a common sense attitude to guns and do not like the idea of arming the population. We also do not like the idea of the police shooting people just because they are a) running away b) get out of their car and c) may or may not be packing heat. It is interesting to me that the terms "collateral damage" and "friendly fire" came from the USA. The land of the free, oxymorons and cop out phrases.

Lets face it, we were never going to maintain our challenge for the top 4 with the squad we have. That is why the top teams pay big wages and big bucks for players and are the top teams. They buy quality, depth and resilience. To be where we were for so long was awesome and speaks volumes about the management and the squad. Defensively we are still ok but as we all know teams sussed us out and we haven't had the firepower up front to continue our position. We have done better than last year and are progressing. I for one and more than happy with that. Enjoy the season for what it is.

Probably the fact that they are not displaying any weapons is a bit of a give away. As for your constant put downs of Brits. You are a Brit are you not?
-
And you lack a sense of humour and irony like many Americans (except of course that you are British).
