Its all supposition at the moment but the fact that a pilot was locked out doesn't sound good. As the decent was controlled I guess the passengers would have been conscious at point of impact? What a nightmare.

I really don't know. I had my haircut by a Turkish guy yesterday. He had poor English but he kept saying he thought it was a terrorist action. At that point I was assuming it was just a tragic accident but didn't know about the locked door. Perhaps it wasn't planned and a spur of the moment thing by the pilot? As you say, it doesn't add up at all.

I think his point is not suicide as such but a deliberate action (as in a terrorist attack).

Evidence?

Really makes you wonder how we managed to stay at 4th for such a long time with such cr@p players. -
Never been sure about what constitutes a big club? Trophy cabinet? Crowds? Turn over? Leeds to me used to be a massive club but what have they won in years? Wolves too. There are plenty of "big clubs" in the Championship and League 1. Does that mean they are still big?

Not sure how this works as on second bottle of red but Alpine Saint = Morrissey

He is still responsible for the way The Sun covered the tragedy. Trying to palm it off now doesn't cut it for me.

Is ok to call people slopes and n*ggers and hit people in the mouth after the watershed?
-
Neither you or I were there. I don't know how bad it was but you seem to be suggesting that it was just a scratch.
-
Perhaps Clarkson can now get together with Ross and Brand and start a new programme where all they do is insult people?
-
Depends on how bad it was.

Then you are very lucky. Police cells are full of people up on common assault charges at the weekend. I am sure he didn't mean anything about yesterday's plane crash. But using the word tragedy in association with Clarkson's situation is completely over the top.
-
You keep saying this but it clearly is true. You cant go round thumping people at work. Unless you are in the Services and it is part of the contract.
-
"Package" is probably a good way to describe them! But a tragedy is what happened in the Alps yesterday and I am disappointed that a grown and intelligent man thinks that what Clarkson did was okay and could have been dealt with differently. If it had been on the street or a pub with lesser mortals that person could well have spent the night behind bars.

If there is not one rule for one and not other why make these findings public. I have been involved with situations like this at work and the findings remain confidential. What he means is that is one rule for the minions and one for the celebrities. I also find it odd that there is so much brown nosing going on. He smacked someone in the face after giving him the verbals for 20 minutes FFS. Also am I right in thinking he hasn't been sacked? There is a difference between being sacked and not having your contract renewed.

Agree that Fonte has had a good season but I think he has been lucky not to have conceded more penalties.
