Re immigration to France , during the days of the French empire , when they took over various countries around the world , all the people of these countries were granted French citizenship. This allowed them to live in France which is why there are large groups from other countries in France . As you know these people have not on the whole done well economically over the years which has led to groups of disaffected people with links to various other countries . Colonialism is also one of the reasons GB is not universally loved around the world as well . There is now emerging a new world order where the west does not dominate the world anymore so life will never be the same (despite UKIP thinking we can return to the good old days) The new borderless europe has turned out to be a bit of a mistake security wise , not sure they would have stopped the Jackal these days ! ( I know it's fiction)

You can sign who you like but if they do their knee in training etc you are back where you started . Having said that if you are in the Europa competition you need a large squad to have a team still able to run around after christmas.

On holiday in Wales as a family , we walked into the pub for lunch , they were talking in English as we walked in then as soon as they realised we were English changed to welsh . I thought that this was just an urban myth but it turned out to be true ! No big deal but not exactly welcoming .

Iceland wern't that bad , France just played proper international standard football and it was a joy to watch Griesman show what he can do .

Pele played for Italy in the same way as he plays for us , the commentators noticed him more as it's the Euros . His link up play was the same , lots of chesting down etc but not much domination in the box for a No9 . His goals were scored late on when defence was stretched but he did get in the right place . Still few attempts on target etc as for us ! So I suspect he will still be a Saint this coming season .

Got tickets for the few matches we wanted without membership , even the last home match . The only problem is the tickets available are usually at the back or dotted around and sometimes I choose a pair and they are blocked as it leaves a single seat ! although that appears to be a random feature on line . It is usually easier to ring up as people are more flexible than the computer . Actually the view from the top of stand is good in the Kingsland !

How bad is Lukaku now ? who would buy him , he seemed to be off the pace and didn't look like connecting with the ball let alone scoring ! It has taken Colman 4 years to get the Welsh team playing this well , he was slated at the begining even offered to resign after a bad run of results at the begining , would any England manager be given that amount of time by the media/ex players ?

Hodgson seemed to lose it whenever we got to the tournament proper , OK during qualifying then totally changing the way of playing at the last minute plus making strange team selections which played people out of position. Although Big Sam is not the best manager ever he would , I think , have a plan and stick to it ! He's worth a try plus the media may eventually have to lower their expecations afterthis debacle .

I suspect Vardy (newly married) thought Arsenal , will I get a game , will they change their philosophy of keep passing before you get to the 6 yard box before you shoot ,what did they do for Walcott , Chambers , etc ? We also visited St Petersburg , was supposed to be Moscow but the special forces had just gassed 300 hostages in the terrorist attack on a theatre . It was almost like a film set in that the front of the buildings were well rendered and painted but if you looked down the side it was pretty rough. There was an obvious divide between the few haves and the the majority have nots . There seem to be numerous different Police forces , we were advised not to use public transport , not to drink the water and even use bottled water to brush your teeth . The "Mafia" were obvious as they all drove round in BMWs and Mercs . The Mrs fell foul of the local water (parasite laden) and was ill for 3 months back in Blighty. The Winter Palace etc were very impressive , Catherine the Great had bought Monets by the dozen for about 5/- each ! So would we go back ? NO ! Not strictly football related but if you take notice of what goes on in Russia and what officials say about the Euros , drug testing etc you would only go to the world cup if you were on a guided visit . We had guided trips and they stopped us getting short changed etc several times .

Would he play in the same team as Sturridge ? Depends who they ship out this window , would be a good outlet for Lallana's flicks / passing though and make Lallana more effective .

The main complaint was that he didn't score goals , otherwise one of the industrious players who are not usually in the limelight . It's good he is staying but where would he go ??

Pelle ran around like a youngster in the first match so was probably "burnt out" today plus he probably thought his goal is enough for now until the knockout stages . Also Hart was laughing and joking with Bale during their match so letting in the free kick was probably a bit of spot fixing .

Walker was given the ball at every opportunity but did he actually get a cross in ? Alli fancy but nothing came off for him , lallana actually looked good !

why even take Sterling let alone play him , he has been out of form all season , pointless taking Rashford not ready like Walcott wasn't . Why pick Kane , he looked out of form probably as he is knackered . Roy's excuse is Sterling looked good in training ! At least Vardy and Sturridge are on 45 mins late....

He still can't pass more than 5 yards without misdirecting the ball ! At least Poch knows that already ....

I'm not sure why watching England makes me so depressed , why does RH pick out of form players ? why do they make the wrong substitutions ? should the manager and back up team view the match from a box up in the stands (like rugby) to get a better idea of how the game is going. Viewing at dugout level is very restrictive. One non league team used to put someone in the opposite stand to the dugout to get a more balanced view of the game , so why with modern communications can't the manger watch from on high while the coach dishes out instructions at pitch level ?

I would like a decent WiFi connection to look at other scores in the prem , esp at half and full time plus my local club live score ! I would not be arse booking or ****tering during the match just in case Pelle connects with a pass which heads towards goal !

Does this mean we get decent WiFi at StMarys so we can look at scores elsewhere ? Given that the Tannoy is so useless !!!

I think Kat has loaned the club £30M so far so it seems the club has not got a large pot of money. Unlike some larger clubs who are pumping millions of (ill gotten roubles) into their pet projects . I think the club was going to be financially ruined if NC was left in charge and Kat is determined to keep the club afloat without pumping millions of her own money into it. RK , I suspect , wants to spend big and not bring players through from the youth system as it takes too long to be sucessful that way and he would not get his "dream move" !! We supporters are still finding it difficult to make the transision from the old days of local players , loyal managers that stay with the club for years and the full blown :money talks , it's a business stupid , greed and more greed plus fleecing of the innocent (us).

As said before , the young lady is totally incomprehensible in Kingsland , the 1/2 time scores are just about heard OK . The security issue is obviously for stadium evacuation in case of fire , bomb etc. I seriously worry about evacuation times as we all have to go down the stairs to get to an exit to the concourse let alone get out the stadium .

Poor treatment of Van Gaal , nearly as bad as Pellengrini , I would hope we do better but Adkins wasn't too good either . I think some sort of respect should be shown as they are people if nothing else .
