Icardi and Dzeko? Give me strength
-
http://sportwitness.co.uk/southampton-players-agent-actively-talks-transfer-despite-claims-move/ Sounds like Gabbiadini would like to stay, providing he's a key player.

Girlfriend's a Villa fan and live West Midlands, so them. Failing that Fulham as it's near work and a good away trip or Derby as I've never been and it's fairly close. Please not Boro.
-
Is it possible that is also to do with the language barrier with most of the players? Only a guess but would obviously play a part were it the case.
-
Supposedly it has come from Schalke, who are apparently quite keen to paint Meyer as a money grabber. I wouldn't blame Saints.

Chelsea won the league that year, first year with Mourinho
-
Know for a fact Swindon fans raved about him, the full season he was on loan there they got to the playoff final too, so that is wrong I'm afraid. He's definitely good enough to play top end of the championship for me but needs a leader alongside him.

They are indeed- xG has them at 19th, overachieving in goals scored by five goals than what an average team would score, and conceding 16 less than the average team would have; picking up 17 points more than the average team would have with those stats. xG has us down as scoring nigh on 37 goals and conceding 43, picking up 12 points more than we actually have. In other words, it tells what we should really know; if we had a goalie performing like Pope has and had a defence performing like Burnley's have, we'd be more than fine. xG rates headers as much harder chances to score and considering we've conceded 13, that may play into that too. In all truth it's just stats, you can take from it what you please. At the end of the season if we're in the bottom three, we go down. Simple as that.

I looked this up the other day out of vague interest, myself. If you'd put a £10 on us, WBA and Stoke to go down, you'd be on to win something around the £15,000 mark according to this: https://talksport.com/football/odds-be-relegated-premier-league-201718-every-club-ranked-most-least-likely-170624244236

No clue on that one; I know he was due a move last summer but his form meant the potential buyers went for their previous second choice. Now he's been error prone and out of the team for another season, I would doubt someone would be busting a gut to sign him.
-
Neither do I really- just think there'll be plenty ahead in the queue to go, so he may be the one who misses out like Schneiderlin in 2014.
-
Don't think they'll end up with that thin a squad, personally. Going on the logic Lemina Bertrand Cedric Tadic and Gabbiadini will be the first out of the door, I think we'd force a couple of those at the end of your list to stay, like PEH and/or JWP (Hoedt's tantrums at being dropped suggests he'd kick up a public fuss if he was made to stay). Pied's out of contract this year anyway so he'll be gone, and ditto Gardos. Clasie will be sold too I imagine. Looking at your starting XI I think we'll target a new RB, CB, ST and an attacking midfielder. That may change if they decide to stick with the 3 CBs in the championship; Wolves done well with that this season.

Sad thing is we've lead in 13 games and won just five. 5 draws from winning positions: Brighton (A), Arsenal (H), Huddersfield (H), Watford (A), Tottenham (H) 3 defeats: Palace (H), Arsenal (A), Chelsea (H)

You're right, that is a very weird feeling.
-
Struggling in a defensive minded team sitting deep and struggling going forwards... Sounds rather familiar doesn't it?
-
Le Tiss had eight England caps, Carlton Palmer had 18. That's all you need to know about that particular guideline.
-
Boruc Clyne VVD Alderweireld Bertrand Schneiderlin Wanyama Mane Tadic Lallana Pellè

Decent enough player, but if he left I'm not too bothered providing it's a decent enough fee. Five assists and no goals in 77 league games for an attacking full back is pretty poor, to be honest.

You could, theoretically at least, play 4-3-3 and have two strikers if we played Shane Long on the right. Just feel his pace and work rate could give us a decent outlet, plays to his strengths, and he had a few assists with crosses in his first season when he played wide right. He'd also give the left winger two targets to aim for when putting in crosses, and his strength in the air makes him a fairly decent option at the back post. I'm not a huge fan of him as a striker but feel it might just work on the wing as a sort of Thomas Mueller style wide forward.

How Hughes has got the reputation of a yes man? Genuinely interested.

Do you think Kat gives a monkeys about ruining her father's legacy

I wished we had been sold to a British owner, ones like the really popular Oyston family or Mike Ashley would've been brilliant. -
Snowflakes, a term apparently used to describe someone who is easily hurt or sensitive to opinion, used by people who get rather sensitive or easily hurt by someone not sharing their stupid opinion. The height of irony.
-
I would guess not as there was a header by Hendrick before, but the same guy also watched for goals 5/10 secs after and we were still top- so I guess it would fall into that bracket instead.

https://twitter.com/EuanDewar/status/965355033213718528 This says a lot too- apparently we're top for goals conceded directly after a shot has been saved (Lukaku's or Ayoze Perez' goals at St Marys this season for example)
