I thought the ex Luton player was only 27, its amazing how quick people age. He has always been a player I wanted to play for Saints after he bullied us playing for Derby. As for Connolly, yes you got me on that one as I had heard of him but I often got him confused with the Irish striker that broke the goal scoring record a few years back, name escapes me at the moment as i'm too tired.

It makes me laugh as I read the Down at the Mac forum everyday. They all predict us to win the league easily while we have them down for winning the league. I reckon a couple of high profile signings for us will tip it all in our favor from every team in this league.

I knew who you was talking about as i'm on that Huddersfield forum everyday Matty. I can honestly say my knowledge of top class footy is very good indeed as I'm an addict. But I will say that hand on heart of all the Saints signings that AP has done I have not heard of any of them until we had signed them. F A C T. Shocking or what?

I'm surprised at the moment because I have seen some teams around us snap up plenty of good players. Huddersfield & Weds have done very well. I'm still hoping for Stock & a target man (to sit on the bench no doubt, that's why we are struggling to get one IMHO as they want first team footy) Also I believe AP will bring in another defender with a midfield leader that will have us jumping for joy. Problem is I want this team to hit the Plymouth game running and not a situation where AP will be wondering what is his strong team.

Huddersfield seem to think Theo will goto Leicester in a swap deal plus money. We will only go money as we don't have any weak players left.

Im beginning to think we have been knocked back by many clubs knowing we have money to spend. Does it mean AP looks at his B list or does he think '**** it I will over bid for so and so as I want a stronger team.'

Beattie is NOT coming back, he has a choice to join a london club or one closer to his Blackburn home area. However he would love to come back but not in this league and plus we can't afford him although he has about 5 mill in the bank. How do I know? Almost from the horses mouth himself. I read an article by Klinsman who decided to change the Germany setup. He got the under 21's playing a system to the first team and he wanted the team to be given a chance nice and early. They won a tournament a dew years back and as we all know they had 6 very good you g players playing against England. They will get better and better and I only believe Saints will be a great force come 5 years time with the likes of our wonder kid Sinclair leading the way for club and country.

The problem with Wednesday is they have the losing feeling. Its take some doing to gain confidence again by winning week in week out. I personally don't see them as a top two even with the quality of players they are getting in. Next season they will **** this league though.

I know they are rumours from this forum but if you had to choose 2 from the 4 who would they be? Danns Lines Jackson Tyson. IMHO we won't sign any of them because Cortese & Pardew won't leak anything but I would love Danns and Tyson although Tyson's attitude scares me. These four players are the sort that would gel and take us through the championship. However I feel we need an old head on the park other than Wotton because they help teams unite to get out of problems. Huddersfield have just signed Lee Carsley which I think is good business. A Robbie Savage, Lee Hendrie or a Matt Oakley would do us fine.

Yes the goalie kit looks very nice. That black shirt is totally boring IMHO it needs a sponsor to make it look a little more jazzy.
