Stewart shouldn't have started 3 games in a week due to his injury record. The issue I have with Scienza is they are saying he's not used to playing so many games over Christmas. Well neither is Jander yet he's been worked into the ground. He hasn't had an injury since he's been with us. He isn't playing 90 minutes every single game. He doesn't look knackered when he's being taken off. It's very odd.

Interesting that one of the main reasons Maresca left Chelsea is because he felt the Medical department were too instrumental in team selection.

I just wish we would put this side out to at least give us a chance of scoring some goals. Baz/McCarthy, Jelert, THB, Wood, Welington, Downes, Jander, Fellows, Azaz, Scienza, Armstrong. Get Edozie back on the bench as well.

They probably couldn't wish for an easier game given their recent struggles. They will know we'll play 3 at the back and to cut the passing lanes to our forward players. They will get balls into the box and shoot on sight. They'll know we won't have our best team out for any of the match. The slog continues.

Could've just appointed Clement. Has Norwich playing well. Experienced manager with a decent win rate. No thrills, just a good, solid manager. That's all we needed.

Jander clearly needed a rest. So did Azaz. Fellows and Armstrong probably do as well. They've all been below par recently. I just don't understand how Manning and Stephens get in this side though.

Yep and despite not knowing anything about him what so ever I'm sure he can't possibly be worse than Bazunu has been this season. He can't be too bad if Bayern signed him, I know he was only ever back up but they obviously saw something in him. At least it seems like the club have addressed the issue, temporarily at least. Now go and get a striker.

Tbh we were never going to buy a new keeper in January with the Ramsdale situation up in the air. Loan this guy until the end of the season. If he plays well we may be able to sign him permanently.
