  1. Reading Jason Dodds comments pre game he said some of the players in the 4-1 game wilted on the day, listening to him and the way he spoke he may have been one of those
  2. god he must be mad
  3. it looked to me a saints fan ran out of our lot and got into them. He must be mad. Its hard tell for sure but it looked that way to me
  4. I watched the game on Sky and was disappointed that Danny Higginbottom didnt say anything good about our club but also praised them to the highest degree. As for the game as Isaw it. I felt that Obefemi , Hoj wilted under the atmosphere. Cedric, Yoshida Bednarek and the brilliant Ings thrived on it and were very good on the noght. Romeau was middle ground as was JWP although you could tell he really wanted it. Mc Carthy made a couple of decent sves but didnt command the box to take the pressure off our defence. I didnt really know any of their players but I thought Williams was a constant threat, and he was the best they had. Their forwards were poor although Marquis did do that snap shot that caught Mcarthy napping. (dirty elbow that hopefully gets picked up by the authorities)Curtis I had heard good stories about but I couldn't see him really stepping up the leagues at present. Their fans gave the usual abuse and created quite a lot of noise but quietened for long spells as the game went on. All in all Ings was the one who stood up and gave the rest of the team the confidence
  5. Im told the Pompey fan who hit the horse defence is that he thought it was his mother and didnt like another man riding it
  6. When I play golf with my Pompey mate however good a shot I will have to shout out 4
  7. Well Mero, the only way to go is accept gracefully as you have. B 4 you go enjoy
  8. You must be kidding, he did the one great pass but apart from that he was a total liability. He was awful
  9. yep, good thought
  10. Just texted my Pompey mate and just said goodnight B 4 you go to bed
  11. Higgenbottom sounded like a Pompey fan he didnt say anything positive about our club at all
  12. Obefemi off for Long would be my choice
  13. still a wonderful watch
  14. I see he borrowed their tablecloth to wear
  15. The invention of the wheel killed millions of jobs!! lol You've been watching too much of the Flintstones.
  16. You had better nail Eddies feet to the floor as when he has gone you will be gone quicker that a turd down the sewer pipe. You have a fantastic owner who backs the club with your at best 10k fanbase. If his Russian connection ever turns bad beware as you will be begging us for a friendly again to rattle the buckets and wanting us to bail you out a bit. I left the game not burning with spite as I would if it had been a proper derby but just another game against another small club who are having their day inthe sun
  17. At the same wages as if they were working 5 days? It surely will only push up inflation and so we are all worse off.
  18. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/sport/premier-league/you-could-feel-the-hatred-inside-the-portsmouth-southampton-derby/ar-AAHLy2W?ocid=spartanntp
  19. good god, really? Thats Yorkshire for you
  20. heard Alex Crook do a preview of the game on Talksportand he propagated the SCUM thing about the dockers strike. Iwish somebody who knows the facts fully went onand put the record straight, and let him know as well
  21. To be fair it seems they have already piloted the 32hour week, its called being an MP
  22. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/labour-commits-to-32-hour-working-week-within-a-decade/ar-AAHIveK?ocid=spartanntp So 32 hour week but people will have the same wages. Well you do the maths. I suggest that this will lead to large increases to the cost of living, the minimum wage will add to that. Where the extra workers will come from lord only knows, Im told we are basically at full employment now. Who would invest in the UK at present? I know if I was a foreign company I would not as not only are they going to increase labour costs but also want to take 10% of a company if it has more than 250 workers. Is this really going to be a vote winner for them??????

Im not sure price transparency is clearer. A poster higher up mentioned how the older tourists like to speak to someone and get reassured, I fit in that group. Buying from a photo is a dangerous game, in my own business I see the games that go on and there are many fools out there who look at photo then price, boy do they often buy badly. Frustrating for myself as I see what is happening, if they came into the business and saw the difference then they wouldn't make the mistake. Sadly my own business is 80%+ internet and I have to follow the trend but building a business by reputation is hard as it is not local anymore.
  24. whilst im sure you are correct I think there is now a larger percentage that is renewable, whether that is cost effective is another thing
  25. It would not have been 3-0 as once the 2nd goal had gone in, if it had not been disallowed meant that the play would have been totally different. It may have been 2-2 or 6-0 or even 3-0. Do you understand that? Its like sliding doors, we took a free kick after the decision and that play went on from there, had it been a goal the ball would have started at the centre circle and the pattern of play entirely different.
