  1. we will see.
  2. Any "acceptable settlement" ( The Falklands: 30 years on, 31 March) will recognise that the islands belong to Argentina, by virtue of the principle of uti possidetis juris.Following the British appropriation of Port Egmont in 1765, a Spanish military governor was appointed in 1767 to administer the islands. In 1776, by royal charter, the Spanish crown made the islands a commandery under the jurisdiction of the naval base at Montevideo, which reported to the government of Buenos Aires. Upon the May revolution in 1810, the latter took over all the territories of the viceroyalty of the Rio Plata, including the islands. Spanish administration of the islands was interrupted in 1811 and resumed in 1820. On 10 June 1829, decrees from Buenos Aires created the political and military commandery of the Malvinas islands and islands adjoining Cape Horn in the Atlantic Sea, under the commandership of Luis Vernet. The Argentinian administration was forcefully ended on 3 January 1833, by the arrival of HMS Clio. The above principle, as applied to territorial ownership and as affirmed repeatedly by the international court of justice, accords pre-eminence to legal title over effective possession as a basis of sovereignty. So the islanders have the security of Mount Pleasant defence but not of international law.
  3. Does anyone have the win ratio of the Dell compared to St Marys. I suspect the intimidating atmpsphere ofthe Dell would make it higher.
  4. I think it is a bit of a debate. According to some in international law it should belong to Argentina.
  5. are you looking in the mirror
  6. Dont you worry Batman, your crew of chefs will take out the finest stormtroopers the Germans can offer. So I dont have toworry about the Pitcairns, not that the Germans have any claim on them
  7. Perhaps I am looking on the negative side but the door is open and all those minor things to some, is just as important to others. Jeremy wants items that were said to be 'looted' be returned. The Argies think he is with them as well as Gib. As for Ireland we never know what they have on him. All minor in the big picture but galling all the same. If Cameron had not started the Brexit vote he would never be anywhere near power but now????
  8. Making the ground intimidating helps the home team, we just make it easy and one of the favourite grounds to visit. Ridiculous, and perhaps why we have a poor record at home compared to the Dell. So it is important
  9. Well we have to look forward to Jeremy negotiating our countries future. All those Tory voters who thought it funny joining Labour as party members to make him leader, thinking it was funny need to take a look at themselves. It is a circus. Jeremy isn't keen on Europe and so the Brexiteers may well get their way and we will be out, but not quite how they expected. Gibraltar, the Falklands and even Northern Ireland may be lost to us. The British Museum will lose lots of its treasures and we will spend the next 5 years apologising and paying compensation for things that have happened 100 or so years ago. Let alone our economy badly hurt. Well done to the Brexit voters and David Cameron
  10. You're on the ball Heis
  11. its logical and very sensible. This type of thing Cortese brought to the club. The way they would take the mattresses to the hotels etc , it seems to have been binned
  12. I picked him a year or so ago on Strictly come dancing, he has changed a bit since then
  13. Leicester players also seemed to rule the roost
  14. Once we win the ball back and get the chance we have to put it away. That has been the problem for seasons. 'In Les we trust' lol
  15. Just shows that we may rate the players watching them in the acadamy but if they dont make it here , they dont make it elsewhere and perhaps the professionals at the club do know a good player when they see one. If the names mentioned went onto stardom perhaps we could point the finger but they didnt
  16. Well according to Sky Corbyn will be only days away of being PM if the vote is lost. Labour MPs will not vote for the deal as they want to bring the government down. Johnson and co the same so that they want their own personal power. Very little is being done for the national interest. I cant see what good deal we will ever get as the chips are against us due to the rules of membership. The DUP are not supporting the Government and so they are risking someone who has pro United Ireland unity becoming the British PM. It is a mess and pretty depressing as I cant see anything good coming from the ridiculous vote. Cameron threw the dice and made the worst error in recent political history
  17. It is madness that we give our home advantage tot the away fans. If the fans from the Northam sat at theother end of the ground and heard that they are drowned out quite often by the away support they might realise that moving the away fans would be the best option
  18. Meoow, give him a saucer of milk. Don't worry yourself Mack we will stay up, as we did well under the Tank driver but now we have the Fuehrer. No doubt the morons down your way will add to the never happened dock strike, to that Ralph is the direct descendent of Adolf. Im glad we don't call you scummers anymore as it is a childish chant like you got in the playground from the thickkids who didn't have the brain to construct anything intelligent,
  19. Fair point BUT we wouldn't be where we are now if we had kept him lol
  20. Time for the fanbase to stick with the manager whatever. Seems to me that it is time that we buckle up and stay with the manager. If we go down we need to stay behind him and hope he can get us back up.I feel listening to fellow fans that we are a lot more hopeful and perhaps the tide may turn. Changing the manager is tiresome, and hopefully this choice seems to have a bit of unity behind him. Fingers crossed
  21. Do you really think that Spurs fans believe it was their song. Perhaps they mean the slow version they sing, rather than our traditional faster paced one. Ever since I have been watching Saints opposition teams have used OWTS . Much like I recall on many occasions our fans singing youll never walk alone. Ive never heard other fans singing Chelseas 'Blue is the colour' or Coventrys one that Jimmy Hill invented
  22. Well you keep looking at the stats, Im sure it gives you a proper insight to footballing skills and what someone gives to a team. I will watch with my own eyes and take warmth from the fact that one of footballs current top managers thought of him. I listened to Saintspodcast and it seems that JWP was wanted by Leipzig and that the new manager may want to utilise him now.
  23. Anybody who looks at stats and tries to use those in an argument isn't that clever either. They are a guide only.
  24. The patch over the eye doesn't tell us Osvaldo is back does it??
  25. IAs if you stopped after 16-18 lol . Sian Adey Jones in the days of Page 3, but such things are seen to be frowned up on now.
