I don't believe so. it was the club not buying a forward. Puel had us playing some bloody good football, but our inability to score made the fans frustrated. We need the rush of the feeling when we score and we went cold turkey. The fans didn't take to Puel because his interviews ere bad, they want someone who gives a quip.
